Wir haben ihn für unseren 4 Jährigen Sohn gekauft, da sein größerer Bruder (6 Jahre) zeitgleich die große Burg(7946) von Lego erhalten hat Gebaut hat ihn der 4 Jährige...ich habe beim Steinesuchen geholfen und ihm in der Anleitung Hilfestellung gegeben. Der Vorteil ist, daß ihm schon bewusst wird, daß es doch Zeit und Mühe kostet die Burg aufzubauen. Dementsprechend geht er jetzt damit um.... Was mir an dem Bausatz gefällt: Im Gegensatz zu der Burg (7946) lässt sich die Festung ohne Probleme aufgebaut hochheben. Die Verbindung der einzelnen Mauern ist wesentlich stabiler und besser gelöst. Die Anleitung ist sehr gut beschrieben, es traten keine Fragen beim Zusammenbau auf (bei der Burg musste im Nachgang ein paar mal korrigiert werden). Nette Sonderteile (goldene Kuppel, Säulen) die zu eigenen Bauten inspirieren. Da viel in Weiß gehalten ist, lässt sich die Burg auch mit den Basissteinen erweitern, ohne daß es sofort auffällt. Bei der großen Burg und dem Grau was in den Basispackungen eher weniger vorkommt, etwas schwieriger.
