Great value and functionality
These work great to replace the out of gas ones on my 4’ Costco tool box. The ends screw off and are the same thread so I could use the original pivot links from the original struts. 😀 hopefully they will last as long as the original ones (15 years).

Locking mechanism
Quality strut. Only problem is that the locking mechanism to release the strut from a mounting bracket came off completely and now I can’t get it back on. Might be user error. Still inconvenient.

Not as strong as they claim.
I got the 12 in 20# to replace the 12in 16# ones i had on my truck topper and they dont hold up the glass at all. At least they slow down the glass from slamming unlike the blown out ones i had before.
