Delicious, Easy, and the Perfect Kick of Spice
Chef Woo’s Spicy Tequila Lime Ramen Cup is a great go-to for a quick and satisfying meal. It’s super easy to make, which is perfect for a quick lunch, and I love that it packs a good amount of protein. The flavor is bold and delicious, with just the right amount of spice, but enough to give it a nice kick. The lime adds a refreshing balance, making it way more interesting than your average ramen. A solid choice if you want something tasty, convenient, and a little different! Also the cheapest of the options which makes it a good deal.

Chef wood spicy ramen
My favorite plant-based high-protein ramen is a game-changer for quick lunches. It not only satisfies your hunger in the moment but also keeps you feeling full for hours. It’s a delicious and nutritious option that never fails to deliver!

Sugary
The chef wu noodle cups are great. But its not clear what their niche is if all the flavors have cane sugar. It makes sense for one chef wu flavor to use palm oil, one to use cane sugar, and a 3rd to try to not have significant preservatives.

Chef Woo Ramen Noodles
Love the pea protein better than the standard Raman. 20 g vs. 5 or 6 g. The beef flavor is good, but a little too much spice. Like the older milder flavor better. Good product. Quick and easy to make.

Decent noodles, great price, fast shipping - but a little spicy for me
I tried another flavor of Chef Woo ramen (purchased at a supermarket) a couple of months ago, and had been impressed by the Gordon Ramsay video endorsement and the "hi-pro glow", and so decided to try a larger package as a birthday present for me. This Spicy Tequila Lime flavor was considerably less expensive than other Chef Woo ramen flavors if one didn't insist on Prime shipping, and the package nevertheless arrived 2 days earlier than the estimated delivery date. I followed the cup's microwave directions, which called for a far longer post-microwave standing time than other ramen cups I've tried; however, the waiting time allowed me to get the rest of the family's lunch (not ramen) prepared. I added a spoonful of white cheddar cheese spread stirred into the ramen (I could have used sour cream or cream cheese instead; any of those options would "mellow" the anticipated spiciness) and a small handful of shredded cheddar cheese sprinkled on top (a common ramen topping for me, regardless of the flavor).I tasted the "spicy", but not the tequila or the lime. Fortunately, the spice level was low enough to be tolerable, and I will eventually work my way through the rest of this 12-pack of Chef Woo ramen cups (hopefully with the help of other family members). I do not think I will order this particular flavor of Chef Woo ramen cups again, though I'd still love to find a good sale on the plain chicken or beef versions of Chef Woo ramen cups.

Real noodle texture without noodle carbs
I can't eat regular ramen noodles anymore and I missed the texture, the experience of the noodles. They just have an irrational but solid place in my mind due to childhood comfort food status. I have tried konjac noodles and physically regretted it for hours and hours. Never again. But I kept shopping. These Chef Woo noodles had promising reviews and a promising ratio, but what sold me was actually some of the dissatisfied reviews. There are people who dislike the Chef Woo noodles because they're too firm. I can't tolerate mushy noodles; they send me involuntarily running for the trash can. When I would eat regular ramen noodles in the past I would slightly undercook them on purpose. Basically I like to chew my noodles. If they break down without much help from my teeth, they are inedible for me. If that also describes you, BUY THESE. Start with the recommended cook time and then experiment with slightly different cooking times with your microwave to find the Goldilocks texture for you depending on how powerful your microwave is. They do need to sit for a few minutes after the cook time also. Even when I have forgotten them for a little too long after cooking, so far I have not ever found them mushy. The chicken and beef flavors are both great and I alternate between them with my orders. I like to add dried chives before cooking. I did try the Thai lemongrass and it was good flavor but painfully spicy for me. For context, I can't eat regular buffalo wings, they're way too spicy. If that also describes you, the Thai lemongrass spice level is not for you. Overall I will buy the chicken and beef flavors for as long as they manufacture these without changing the formulation. I dearly miss the mushroom flavor of regular ramen noodles and couldn't find that in recent years anyway, so I would love it if Chef Woo made an umami flavor like that also.

Just ok
A bit pricey but if you must have instant noodles and you don’t want the unhealthy version, then this could work. Now, it taste nothing like the ones we grew up with. I bought Lemon Grass and it was spicier than I expected. Very low in sodium, therefore less flavorful than expected as well, but worth it if you need to lower your sodium intake. The noodles are a bit grainy like whole wheat noodles. Be prepared for that. If you crave instant noodles, then these will definitely help you kick that habit because they don’t have you wanting to eat more. And as long as you have the right expectations, you will be fine. Healthy is good for you and unfortunately it doesn’t always taste delicious.
