So delicious, I don't even consider this a "healthy" snack it's just as delicious as an addictive junk food to me.. Won't really spend much time assessing the healthiness of this because that's not a big concern to me personally- 170cal per pretty lightweight bag is def slightly more than I expected but not unreasonable. If you're against sunflower or safflower oil you might also be disappointed. Not "air" there's some fats, salt, carbs etc but I don't think this is trying to be health food but rather a healthy alternative to junk! And it wins, I'd choose these over cheese puffs any day!!I find these are the PERRRRFECT flavor profile- umami sublime!! Not TOO salty but just the right amount to be satisfied and dig in for more. Nutritional yeast lends the best cheese-like umami, this snack makes me realize I might actually prefer nutritional yeast over powdered cheese topping!Where I think a lot of snacks go wrong is a weird amount of "sweet" for a savory snack? This one, nope! Less than 1g added and I am usually sensitive to sweets and this is perfect.The onion and garlic powder? Yes yes yes, bury me in these 2 key seasonings because they're the key to life..Black pepper? White pepper?! Such a wonderful addition! It is slightly visible and slightly tastable but in a super elevated way and not spicy nor alienating for kids imo.ALSO barely tastes of cauliflower for me. I do love cauliflower BUT I've had some cauliflower snacks taste wayyy too accurate and even worse than real cauliflower (like concentrated broccoli and cruciferous fart-iness). So I was worried about that with these but nope! They're great.They're very large and crunchy and hold form really well. It takes me 2-3 bites for each puff.I think these in smaller cheese-ball type bites in a massive tub would be the ultimate form of this for me 😂Vegan bob, I'm a huge fan now! The flavor is internal and is not a powder that gets all over your fingers. The flavor is much more natural than an artificially flavored cheese puff as well (these are not cheese flavored). The flavor is generic “savory.”I’m not vegan, but I love that these are not too high in fat or salt and that they have practically no sugar.Being “puffs” these are very light – each bag is only 1.25 ounces, which is very light (each pack weighs about the same as 6 US quarters). Most of each “puff” is air – so despite the size, there is not a lot of substance here, but that’s true with every other food of this puffy style as well.
