I bought one, then my husband bought one. Now we sit in our recliners with our heating pads on watching HBO Max, living our best lives. What I really loved about this one is that it reaches a nerve that runs right across my left shoulder blade. Sweet relief!

This is a good but not great product. It advertises that it will heat for 2 hours. Which I guess is technically correct but not really. After about 30 minutes the temperature drops drastically. And the only way to get the same heat level back is to turn it off and wait for it to cool off (about 20-30 minutes) and turn it back on. I understand the designers can’t risk scalding but then the product description should clearly state that the temperature drops after X minutes. It does penetrate well and it does offer good pain relief . . . just for no where near as long as I hoped. This product is directional . . . you have to place the correct side against your body. In low light it is extremely difficult to find the correct side. Even in good light it can be very difficult to see the “waves” on the “away from the body” side. It would be a huge improvement to sew a label into the seam near the power cord that has “body side” and wrong side written in a high contrast font. Or to use different colors for the body side or something. None of that would be a significant cost. Using this on your shoulders works well but the weighted perimeter is not well filled and there are numerous gaps that can cause minor issues with the pad staying in good contact with your body. It’s possible to use this on other parts of your body, for example I use it on my upper arm (biceps and deltoid), but it’s kind of finicky to get placed there and keep it in good contact with my body. So it’s a bit flexible as to where you can use it but it’s not really easy to do so. I’d also slightly criticize the strength of the magnets, the number of magnets and the magnet placement. It’s just a little tricky to get the magnets to attached to each other. The first time I used it . . . it took me about 2 or 3 minutes to figure it out. It still takes me like 10 ish seconds to get them to engage (I’ve had this for over a month and on average have probably used it more than once a day). Adding additional magnets or making them stronger or having some virsual indication where they were or a slightly different texture so you can feel them more easily would go a long way to improving this aspect. They will also come apart relatively easily if you move around even a little. Overall it’s a good product but with a couple of tweaks in the design and the description it could be better.

I love this heating pad. This infrared pad does not get real hot to the touch, but it delivers a huge amount of heat to deep muscle tissue. Don’t ask me how it works but it does

Don’t buy… I did not use it for a while and then when I did, I was very disappointed and it was too late to return it. It doesn’t heat very well.

As can be the case with some heating pads, it seems to briefly turn off every now and then. I also didn't feel the heat was distributed evenly. I switched to a different model (flat, not formed) of this brand and I'm very happy with that one instead.

I am in Nail Tech. I use this for my clients. It is perfect in the winter months of Michigan to keep them warm and relaxed.
