**Q: Can this be used to lube keyboard switches?**
A: yes this is pretty popular lube for stabs and switches

**Q: Can this be used on UK domestic 240v mains connections?**
A: I'm not an electrician but I'd say yes. But don't message me if something burns down :)

**Q: Does this work for RJ45 Ethernet connecting?**
A: For all electrical connections

**Q: Would this be suitable to stop the electrical connectors on a sliding van door from corroding (where door meets van body when it's closed)?**
A: I don't know. The grease in the auto shop is used at the connection between spark plugs and the coils, to improve electrical connection may well prevent moisture and corrosion, and all that good stuff. As well as lube the connections for future disconnection. 
Probably what you should be looking for is a properly installed electrical connection and not to rely on some gel.
