Easy to use,great dye! I wanted to dye a bright red top to be purple/plum and wasn’t sure any dye would cover the red but this one made it a really nice colour.It turned out very even and not a single patchy part! Recommend this.

I got it to dye a while cotton sweathshirt. I loved the sweatshirt, but not the colour. The colour came a bit..uneven in places. A bit like tie-dye project but it looks good. It is quite easy instructions to follow and do it. This dye did not work on the embrodery but I would probably colour it again with a dye for synchetics later on. Unfortunately, the app does not allow me to attach photos.

Works well colour good for jeans. Easy to use in machine or even by hand.

Bought this for a sample as I needed to dye some fabric for an event. The sachet states. Only 1 shirt this will dye. I was sceptical as I had never used hand dye previously, but trusted the brand so I gave it a go! So please I did! Excellent product easy to use but it will dye everything it touches so wear gloves and old clothes! I out 2 t shirts in the bucket just to see what the colour quality would be like and then dried in sunlight- it tells you not to do this but I wanted to check the product to make sure it was a bright colour and the colour didn’t fade! Colour is exactly as described but I did leave it 30 minutes longer than suggested. I then put another 3 t shirts in the mixture and left for a few hours stirring occasionally and these also dyed to a very bright pink. Great coverage and you get way more for your money than the instructions suggest. Easy to use but watch your clothes and skin they will stain instantly when they come into contact.

I’ve used Dylon Machine pods with great success in the past. This is the first time I’ve used Dylon hand dye. I used the hand dye because I only had one small item, light in weight and in colour, so it seemed a waste to get a machine pod for such a small item. It was a fail, despite following the instructions exactly. I had tried to dye an XS shirt that was 100% Linen and weighed less than 200g. It was a really evenly light mauve colour originally. So I thought Brown would be a sensible choice to colour it. It was easy enough to do, the instructions are clear. The colour is exactly as shown and really intense, which I am happy with. I really like the colour It’s exactly the colour I had hoped that it would be and the only reason I gave one star, for the colour and for the ease of dying. But ultimately the result came out so patchy and my shirt is currently looking like a tie dye 50 shades of brown. It looks like it’s got faded sweat stains all over it. I’ve tried to capture in a photo, but you can’t quite see the many different shades of brown in the light. It also has black spots all over the place too, despite dissolving the dye powder first in warm water. I wasn’t expecting an amazing result, but what I have got is disappointing. Especially give the item is 100% linen. I do like that the buttons and inside branding tag and machine wash logo stayed pure white. I will now need to buy another packet and dye the shirt again, which is disappointing because I was using the hand dye because I was trying to avoid being excessive for such a small job. I wanted to avoid waste. I would recommend that if you are going to try these sachets, buy two incase anything goes wrong. But, I think for me, I’ll probably stick to the machine pods and wouldn’t buy this again nor would I recommend this product.

I was impressed with the result of using this black dye. A tricky operation as bleach had been spilt on the black, stretch-fabric cuff against the join to a white sleeve. I soaked the cuff in the dye mix and used a paint brush to dye the material against the white fabric. The colour only ran slightly into the white fabric when rinsing out the dye, I doubt it will show when wearing the shirt. The intensity of the black dye was perfect and covered the orange discolouration made by the bleach. No stain was left in sink or stainless steel saucepan that I used.

This a a beautiful shade! Super easy to use and came out perfect. Had several compliments on the colour. I done it in a bucket and worked incredibly well

Les instructions au dos du sachet sont faciles à suivre (il faut bien laver le tissu après l'avoir teint comme c'est indiqué, mais aussi bien l'essorer !). La couleur obtenue peut aller du orange très vif (comme celui d'un poisson rouge ou ... d'une orange !) à des oranges très pâles selon le temps pendant lequel votre tissu baignera dans la teinture. Il est aussi possible de réaliser des dégradés ! Les teintures Dylon sont les seules que j'utilise et j'en suis assez satisfaite pour ne pas me tourner vers d'autres marques.

It worked as I had hoped. I dyed an old grey cotton button down shirt that I bought at the Gap years ago. It turned out well and was easy to use. I am not sure how long the color will last but it seemed to do a good job. It looks good so far.

Van wit naar een hele mooie bruintint kunnen kleuren. Product werkt goed dus!
