Does the software that comes with this scanner promote Marijuana?
The software that comes with this scanner is called Nimodoc Lite. The icon it puts on the desktop looks like a marijuana leaf. I don't care what other people think of cannibis, but, as a retired teacher, I've seen what it has done to young people and I find the installation of this icon on my wife's computer highly (no pun intended) offensive. It seems the developers of this software are promoting marijuana. If you agree, buy this scanner; if you find marijuana use detrimental to our society, don't buy this scanner until they change the software that operates it. Google "nimodoc icon" to see the desktop icon that is installed. The scanner works, but the software icon is infuriating to me.
