The sound is kind of low even though the volume is up to the max.

Unnecessarily complicated.
I just wanted Record, Play Back, and Erase, but instead you’re required to navigate through folders in a manner that is anything but intuitive, and I never figured out how to delete a recording. (There’s a button with a trashcan icon on it, but that doesn’t seem to do it.) The owner’s manual is available online, but it is either incomplete or simply poorly written. I sent the item it back.
