How many pendant lights should I install for a standard kitchen island?

For a standard island, we recommend 2 to 3 lights. Space them 24-30 inches apart to ensure even coverage. This layout prevents visual clutter while providing optimal, shadow-free task lighting for your meal prep area.

What is the ideal hanging height for this farmhouse dome light?

The optimal hanging height is 30-36 inches above your countertop or table. This distance ensures the light focuses on the surface while keeping the line of sight clear for people standing or sitting around the kitchen island

Is the 60-inch cord adjustable for low ceilings or sloped areas?

Yes. The 60-inch flexible cord can be cut or tucked during installation to fit low ceilings. Because it’s a soft wire, it naturally hangs straight, making it 100% compatible with flat, sloped, or vaulted ceilings.

Does the package include everything needed for a DIY installation?

The kit includes all mounting hardware, a grounding wire, and a clear user manual. It is designed for standard US junction boxes. Note: This is a hardwired fixture; for your safety, we recommend professional installation.

Does this fixture provide general room illumination?

No. Due to the solid metal dome design, 100% of the light is directed downwards. It is specifically engineered to highlight surfaces below it (like a sink or island) and will not cast light upwards or out through the sides of the shade
