I did not use this as intended. I used to to replace my potatoes bin wire mesh on the door that had broken away (you know those wooden bins you store onions and potatoes in). Cut to size and glued it. Perfect.

I know it’s intended to be used for crocheting but I used it as mesh for a costume, it’s decent and easy to paint but if you don’t want your eyes visible through the mesh you’ll have to use multiple layers

I got this set of plastic mesh canvas sheets with cross stitch embroidery in mind. My 7yo showed an interest in cross stitch, but he struggled to work with a much smaller beginners kit that involved embroidery floss and a somewhat small needle.These mesh sheets have fairly large holes that most yarn needles would fit through. Cross stitch with yarn should look fantastic, though I’ve not tried it yet. I could also see these used to make a sensory “rug” with yarn as well.Though I enjoy crochet, I’m not sure where this would come into play in a crochet project unless you sewed it to an inner layer of amigurumi to help provide a flat surface within. I could see its use in this method for providing a flatter base, a rigid sword/book, and more.The mesh is reasonably sturdy, but one could easily combine layers to increase support as well.I can imagine many uses for these mesh canvas sheets. They are quality and provide many possibilities for crafters.
