Does the job
It’s not as big as the pictures perhaps imply but the size is correct to the dimensions in the item description. For my purposes Its compactness is a benefit for where I have located it, but it does mean that the space between the key hooks is a bit tight. Not enough to limit its use but it does make it a bit fiddly to hook and remove the keys. The rear of the cabinet is pre-drilled to accept a couple of self tappers, which I have used to fasten it to the back of the pantry door. The cabinet is secure enough but the metal is not that substantial and the key lock just about serves its purpose. It’s more than enough to meet my needs, but if you need something that will withstand forced entry then I am not sure this would stand the test. The stick on numbers are a useful addition, but if you are looking for permancy, apply a dab of glue before fixing them as the self adhesive backing is not good. Mine fell off within hours of fixing them.To summarise. This is a stylish looking cabinet. I purchased it to keep our keys accessible and organised and it certainly does that at a very cheap price. If security is a significant factor in deciding to purchase a key cabinet I would not recommend it.

I think its actually better in real life than the photos....
I have seen some of the negative reviews on this and to be honest I think they must have bought a different item! This is well made, very well finished and looks the part. It provides exactly what it advertised which is a secure place to hang keys, I don't know what more people expect when they buy it? Nothing is going to keep out a determined thief but this does the job of routine security very well. The main bone of contention seems to be the self adhesive numbers not sticking properly? which seems a bit petty to me but mine worked perfectly, adhering to the inner surface and lined up very precisely with the hooks. The addition little feature of the key drop slot on the side is also very handy. There is a bag of nice little key fobs which you can colour code to your own liking. All in all a good little package for very little money, delivered quickly, what more could you want. :)

Should be better for the money
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Received this keybox today and first impressions were quite positive. With regard to the stickers I have seen reviews that they don't stick very well. I cannot comment on that yet as I have just fitted the box to the wall and haven't got around to indexing yet. I will say that the print on them is pretty faint particularly the ones at the top of the page. Almost looks like their printer cartridge was running out of ink.The key tags seem OK with a selection of different colours. Handy if you want to group up particular keys in categories. As far as the installation and sturdiness goes that's where this box let's itself down. The two screws supplied are appalling quality and the head sizes in my opinion are too small for the purpose. Especially when fitting to a block wall. With my first attempt the one screw head rounded and the second screw head broke off just short of being fully secured. (see image) I then spent the next 20 minutes trying to get the remains of the broken screw out with pliers, which thankfully I did eventually and managed to avoid having to reposition and redrill again. A couple of better quality replacement screws, same length but with larger heads and "hey presto" job done. And yes, I did use the right size drill for fitting the rawlplugs and the correct size screwdriver.Only when I came to close the key box door to lock it do I discover just how bad the closed fitting is. (see video clip)If I were to be using this box where a certain amount of security was required I would be taking it back off the wall and boxing it up for a refund. This could be forced open in seconds with a screwdriverHowever, as its not a major priority I have decided to leave it up and prepare to grimace every time I close and lock that illfitting door.If security is an issue, I would advise to look elsewhere.

Ok at best
Well constructed enough but three problems. 1. The plastic window for the index card was manufactured upside down with the opening at the bottom so every time you open the door the card slides out unless you tape it shut.2. The stickers for numbers are rubbish. They’re all the same length where some key rows have more hooks than others so you have to cut them up, but more importantly they in no way stick to the metal. Not even for a second. Had to number the hooks myself with a marker pen.3. The column of hooks nearest the hinge isn’t very accessible due to the mount for the index card
