2/Pack Gorilla Gripper Advantage 44015 2PK General Purpose Panel Carrier 100LBS Made in USA

I saw an ad for these on facebook and I was blown away that this existed. I work in a scenic shop for a theatre and are constantly moving theatrical flats and sheet wood of all sizes and thicknesses. This helps SO MUCH to alleviate back strain. I recently sustained a shoulder injury so this item helps A LOT in changing the way I lift and carry things.

We used these to carry 24 Sheetrocks into our basement , for use in a remodel. Extremely usefull.

The gripper is good for thicker materials such as plywood but for 1/2" drywall it broke the area it was clamped to. I had to go back to the $7 plastic device and carry it holding from the bottom . It might work on 5/8", but i didn't try.

After two days of use the gray gripping material is sliding off of the pad. Overall the product did the job, just not satisfied with it malfunctioning after the first weekend project use.

I bought these based on the last three words in the ad headline. That headline being "2/Pack Gorilla Gripper Advantage 44015 2PK General Purpose Panel Carrier 100LBS Made in USA ", and I copied this directly from my order. This pic of the items also clearly shows the US flag on the item.I try to buy only products Made in the USA. When the shipping notice came in, it was shipped from China! I seriously doubt if a TRUE 'Made in USA' product would be first made in the USA then shipped to China for distribution.I will emphatically call this ad a FRAUD.

This makes it easy to handle full size sheets of drywall, plywood by yourself. This model of the Gorilla Gripper can be bought at Lowes for $19.98 each vice $58.99 for a 2 pack or $31.45 each on Amazon.
