I became familiar with Oud essential oil in a blended essential oil produced by another brand. I was eager to try out the oil unadulterated by another scent being blended with it, but I found it to be very expensive, perhaps because of the seemingly difficult process of obtaining a pure natural oil. When I found this particular brand of pure Oud wood oil, at an affordable price, especially considering the rather large quantity that’s in the bottle, I decided to give it a try. The product arrived within 2 days of ordering, packaged in a very secure,attractive box, that included a dropper cap. I’ve just started using it in a waterless defuser and I’m very pleased with the scent. It’s not a sweet overwhelming scent, as many blends of essential oils are. Rather it’s a subtle very relaxing aroma, that fills my apartment with a what I’d describe as a smooth, really calming aroma. It’s difficult to describe, as each person’s olfactory senses are uniquely different. Overall I’m very pleased with the scent and would purchase it again. The large volume contained in the bottle will I’m sure, last for a long time. I might try adding a bit of Santal or bergamot to a small amount, making my own personal blend. For the quality,quantity and very good pricing, I’d highly recommend it.

This is the second time I buy these and got 2 of them this time around. And they lost a star on this current review (4 down from 5). One of them was nice but not as nice as the first one I got, the second one in this last order is about 1 or 2 months short from becoming stale. Very faint scent and the smell of whatever carrier oil they used, is starting to overpower the citrus aroma. So, not bad enough to send back, but a little dissapointing. The scent of the first bottle was heavenly. Not sure if would buy again, but there aren't many sellers that carry grapefruit essential oil./The oil seems to be just a tad watered down, but it really doesn't affect the quality. I actually think it helps, because it feels very gentle on the skin. Smells great, and is a delicate aroma, so it doesn't last all day. Still, it last for at least 4 to 5 hours. Would buy again.

This smelled so terrible I was mad just upon smelling it for a second. I wanted to smell a fresh christmas tree but instead my nose was insulted.

Smells and works great. I mixed them together with castor oil. The scent is amazing

I use this with frankensence ,ginger and cinnamon for pain control. Smells great.
