Great value
Great clippers. The "hair-pulling" complaints may be addressed by tightening the nut on the clipper head. I think they are great and they seem quite durable. I am not sure of its composition.

No good.
These clippers pull your hair more than they cut. I remember when my grandfather had a pair of manual clippers and they cut perfectly. The clippers are also described as "stainless steel" - it's not. It's chrome plated. And some of the welding edge's are sharp and can grip or scratch your hand. This is only good as a prop.

Good for Cats
Quality is OK, not a high end product but functional. This works really well to trim mats out of our cat's fur without scaring her - she thinks it's a brush but when we get to a mat we can safely snip it out. It's obviously silent compared to electric clippers so she stays much more relaxed.

Beard trimmer
My husband has had to repair the stem piece numerous times but he is mechanically endowed and was able to fix it for improved usage. Fair to good quality overall aside from initial issues with internal parts

Disappointing all around.
I found myself fairly disappointed in this. It doesn't come with guards and is awkwardly shaped and sized, so buying guards isn't a great option. It snags and yanks hair no matter what I did so the blade really just wasn't sharp enough. And lastly the spring action on the clipper is a too strong so it can make your hand tired fairly quickly. I think this also contributes to you not being able to press hard / fast enough to utilize it proper. I'm glad I used this on myself and not a pet because it would be yanking their hair non stop. I would just say the quality is low, and perhaps the overall design is bad. There is a reason you don't see this kind of thing for sale anywhere. I really wanted to love this but I wouldn't recommend.

Top issue is that the cap is plastic
had to get a 3mm nut to replace the nut that hold everything together because honestly, it's a decent clipper for what I paid. The cap is a plastic part painted silver with a rubber bit inside. Keep the rubber part. I wanted something I could keep with me that didn't use power, but this is 100% a cheap manufactured product and if you wanna be more conscious of what you buy, maybe go on another platform. If you need to shave your head for $10, it'll work. It's gonna come in very oiled and the directions are in Chinese. You are paying for cheap mass manufactured goods. If this is an issue, you can find better ones for $40+ more that might have been made 1920 that still work. Long term, I think taking it apart to clean after every use (or once a month) and replacing the plastic after it breaks, it'll last. Keep the rubber part so the metal doesn't fuse. If you need to care something to shave and you don't know that you'll have power, it'll work. YOU HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO USE IT. You need to consistently squeeze and release. Shaving your whole head or the sides you can see would be a good starting place, but you have to learn how to use them without pulling on your hair. Don't be scared of them. I have yet to cut myself. and I cut my hair weekly. First week was a little uneven, but just had to go over it again and we're good.

Don't Buy It!
I tried cut my own hair with it and it barely cut anything. I could far better with regular scissors, a comb, and safety razor than this piece of junk. It came in a box with Chinese instructions. I cannot read Chinese!!! $11 may not be a lot of money to Amazon, but I live on a retired man's fixed income and it all adds up. This item is just a toy. It is not real. It is not a serious tool. No professional barber would touch it with a ten-foot pole. The bottom line? Caveat Emptor, "let the buyer beware." I want my money back!
