They are not "mini" - each will easily hold two large tablespoons of cremains. A wonderful way to have your loved one's ashes be split off in small amounts for large families. Or gift one to a best friend as remembrance of their enduring relationship. A great size for your mantle, not too big, but also not anal enough that it will get lost. It fits in my hand, but not what I consider small enough to be a "carry it with you always" size. The design was perfect - my mother has three daughters and a husband who loved her so much, we got the three doves.They come in a beautiful box, and each has a lovely velvet pouch.
