My cat doesn’t want to eat this food
Unfortunately, my cat doesn’t want to eat this food. Moreover, the formula is designed to prevent both struvite and oxalate stones — but the problem is, these two conditions require opposite approaches. Struvite stones are more common in the urinary tract and dissolve in acidic urine, while preventing oxalate stones requires the urine pH to be more alkaline. If the food lowers the pH, it actually promotes the formation of oxalates. Unfortunately, my cat was diagnosed with oxalate stones, so I did some research and now I know that this food is not suitable for him...
