I didn't like the door hooks so I opted to mount to the back of the door since I didn't have enough wall space. You do have to adjust the hinges to compensate for the weight but one of my better organizing purchase in awhile. **Q: How thick are the fixtures to hang over door? I have a very small space?** A: I didn't hang mine. It's mounted on the wall behind the door and fits nicely. The outside depth of the cabinet is less than 4 inches. **Q: How high is it off the ground once hung on the door?
