Leviton 84016-40 2-Gang, Duplex Device Receptacle Wallplate, Standard Size, Device Mount, Stainless Steel

These plates are for locations -- at mattress height next to kid's bed -- that invite bonking. Much more rugged than the plastic plate replaced, BUT much thinner so receptacles stick out nearly 1/8 inch from the plate. With a plastic plate, the receptacles are flush with the plate, so less exposed to damage. Shipped with a blue plastic film to protect the stainless steel finish; be sure to strip this off before installing.

Very nice brushed nickel switch plate, it perfectly matches the nickel faucet, towel holder, toilet paper holder in my bathroom. A dull old, off-white plastic cover does nothing to enhance the look of a room. This does.Warning, when this arrives, it looks blue. You say "WTF" and want to start the return process. Actually, it's covered with a very thin coating of blue plastic. Peel it off, and voila!

Wouldn't fit over a 20amp rated Eaton receptacle. It was just ever so slightly too small to fit over it. I suspect a little dremel work would fix it, but after finding an Eaton Stainless Steel wall plate fit perfectly I figured it'd be easier to return it.

Not much to say other than it's a very nice product, nicely priced, and looks great in the kitchen. It comes covered with a blue plastic film to prevent scratching during shipping. After taking the blue film off, you get a great looking socket or switch cover.

I did have to put a couple shims because of our backsplash, but they match great and look good!

Exactly as I was expecting, and it does come with a protective blue plastic film to prevent scratches during shipping. Actually, the film is done so well (nice edges, proper adhesion), that I've left it on the wall plates to see if I like them with a blue tint!
