Madras Peugeot U Select Salt and Pepper Mill Set 21 cm White

I had to return this item for two reasons. The first is that the quality of the white finish (painted beechwood) is well below par. Both items had areas where the underlying wood was showing through and one had a small blob of paint proud of the rest of the surface. The second is that both items already contained salt and pepper which was unexpected and led me to believe (correctly or incorrectly) that this item had been returned by someone else. I have no doubt that the grinding mechanism is the DB's but at this price I would expect perfection. A great shame as I think the design and shape of them is great.
