I had purchased a shorter version of this ramp a couple of years ago to use for my mom to help her get in and out of my truck. It has also come in handy when I was moving her and the moving people needed and extra ramp (and they had brought one of these just like it already). They were surprised to see me pull mine out and lend it to them. The shorter ramp is now a fixture in her home at her entry so she does not have to step down. This ramp can easily load the wheelchair that she now needs when we travel. I am also using it to load my new electric bike because the shorter ramp just did not work with loading the bike either in the back seat or the bed of my truck. I needed a longer ramp to make it easier to load by myself and this one did the trick. This is a heavier ramp than the other one but I am 5’2” and 58 years old and can still manage it. It is still nice and portable, and you can load and unload it when needed. These ramps all good all-around items to have around in your homes and your vehicles.

Needed a small ramp to help my mother-in-law navigate small thresholds getting in/out of our house as she's usually in wheelchair or using a walker and is very unsteady on her feet. The double width is great for her wheelchair and the fact that it folds makes it so much more portable and easier for me to manage. It's solid (meaning it's not light!), but when folded I can lift/carry it short distances. That's great because now I can move it around my house to whatever area she is trying to navigate.

These ramps have a WHOLE LOT of flex and the center joint. The rating capacity was 800lbs, but there is a lot of flex for only 150 lbs....Havent decided to send them back or not

This is a great idea. Although I know this is meant for wheelchair and walker access, I use it for moving appliances in and out of places. They're easy to set up and take down and they're sturdy.

I got the 4 foot foldable ramp.It's fairly portable if you need to move it around. It's not exactly fun to fold up and carry, but it's only 28 pounds, it's not that bad.They say it holds 600 pounds, and I don't doubt them. It has a no slip grit surface on it. And it's made from aluminum, so it can be used outside. I'm not sure if the hardware (hinges, pins, etc) are stainless steel, so I can't say that it's intended for permanent outdoor use. But either way, it's definitely ok outside for a while. It can get rained on, etc, without damage.I also like the little details. It has a reflective strip, for better visibility, especially at night. It has rounded corners, to avoid scratching. And it has an angled lip where it meets the ground, for rolling on and off smoother.
