I wanted a 1 litre bottle, that I could use for both the copper benefits but but also to simply pull out of the fridge and have a decent serve of water to cool down whilst watching a show or having dinner and this one is perfect. I don’t know why some others complained about the seal, the screw on lid has a tight thread that over time will smooth so it’s easier, and there is also a decent rubber seal. I managed to pick mine up for $17 due to a damaged box, looks like it was one that someone received and noticed the top of the lid had some rubbing and sent it back, so for me I consider this an absolute bargain. So whilst I can vouch that it is a good bottled and the shine may rub off if you just use it like it’s intended, I don’t know if I could agree to a $70 price tag, but if you wanted a good quality copper bottle, and were not sure which one to choose for quality, I can say that this one is of good quality.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price. It is a bit finicky to screw on the top but that's because it is 'handcrafted' metal on metal. A non issue (for me) because it does have a leak free seal. If you want copper in particular then this is very good quality for the price. With copper being a noble metal, it has no negative affect on quality spring water. I will be buying more copper drinking vessels, cups, jug, etc... Highly recommended. Tip: A mixture of 50/50 salt/vinegar with some warm soapy water mixed in should be an easy, safe and effective cleaning solution.

It's a question we've all asked ourselves at least once, why doesn't my water taste more like rusty pipes? Well oh good golly polly wolly have I got the solution for you. This shiny high maintenance drinking receptacle is the perfect answer to that question and even answers some you never thought you'd ask like "Ok, but why is it not coming clean and only gets more tarnished the longer I try to clean it?". But you'll soon forget about all of your concerns when you finally realize that you can have that childhood sensation of what it tasted like when you tried to see how many pennies you could fit in your mouth at once but now you can have that nostalgic trip down memory lane every time you think "I'm thirsty AND I want to feel like spitting constantly". I gave it an overall rating of five stars, I knew what I was buying and it was as described. Leak proof? I don't use the lid, five stars. Durability? I haven't had reason to hit anything or anyone with it and it comes pre-dented, five stars. Flavour? We covered that, five stars.

This is a very nice pitcher .. not too big, easy to hold on to, I love the tooled copper look and feel.
