Revolution HydroSteam Upright Carpet Cleaner 3670E

I’m very impressed with the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam. It worked brilliantly on an old oil stain that I thought would be impossible to remove—it came out straight away without much effort. The steam function is powerful and heats up quickly, making it easy to clean and sanitize various surfaces.The versatility of this cleaner is great for a range of floors and carpets, and it feels sturdy and well-made. If you’re looking for a steam cleaner that actually delivers results on tough stains, this is a solid choice. Although expensive it's a solid product with a long warranty. It's quite bulky but easy to use.

This feels like a genuine step up from both my previous Bissell spot cleaner and a Vax upright carpet cleaner that recently gave up. The difference is most noticeable in how well the brushes agitate the carpet. They work the pile properly and pull up dirt that lighter machines simply miss, which results in a noticeably deeper clean. Using hot water at around 60°C is clearly worth doing. It improves cleaning performance and shortens drying time, especially when combined with the steam function. The steam is not a gimmick. It really helps lift stubborn marks and is particularly effective on pet-related stains and lingering urine smells. I found the best results came from holding the trigger down while moving back and forth over an area, then finishing with a few passes without the trigger to extract as much moisture as possible. Assembly is straightforward and takes only a few minutes. Ongoing cleaning and maintenance are just as easy. The brush bar cover clips on and off quickly, which makes it simple to remove trapped hair and carpet fluff. The clean water tank is a decent size, though for larger rooms you will still need to refill it a few times. The dirty water tank fills at a similar rate but clips in and out easily, so this never feels like a hassle. The power cable is long enough to cover most rooms without swapping sockets and it stores neatly on the machine. I have also used the hose and stair attachment with good results. The stair brush did a great job on heavily used carpet with mixed stains, though the small brushes can pop off if you are not careful. One pleasant surprise is how quiet it is. It is noticeably less noisy than both my old spot cleaner and the Vax upright. The included shampoos are fine for a few initial cleans, but if you plan to use it regularly you will want to buy the larger bottles fairly quickly. Overall, this is a well-designed machine that delivers a deeper clean with less effort. If you are upgrading from a smaller spot cleaner or an older upright, the improvement is obvious from the first use.

Very strong and on the heavy side. Does what it is supposed to do and definitely makes a difference. Can use as normal carpet cleaner or with the HydroSteam. Would definitely recommend purchasing.

Recently ordered the hydro steam and i can safely say the main cleaner it’s fab cleaned my carpets really well despite being heavy and loud it is very good very easy to use and build, pretty impressive really for the price I still feel this is expensive however i am really disappointed in the hose attachments as this just doesn’t work water just doesn’t come out hoping Amazon an Bissell sort out a replacement part

I live in a 4 bedroom house and carpeted throughout with cream carpets 20 years ago. The carpets were very good quality when new. We do not wear shoes in the house, do not smoke and have no pets, however, after 20 years of just vacuuming, the carpets looked more grey than cream before cleaning. So, after removing all furniture from the room, I used my vacuum machine to vacuum the carpet then used the Bissell with their recommended cleaning solution to clean. I did this one room at a time. Each room took 24 hours to dry enough to replace the furniture. The result, however, was amazing. The carpets are now cream again plus the pile has been lifted so they feel like new. All spills including old tea stains were removed. This machine is pricey but does the job. Only downsides are the attachment for the stairs does not have steam so the result was slightly less impressive and the machine is fairly heavy when empty and very heavy when filled with the tank of water/solution otherwise an excellent product.

Great machine for getting stains out but the collection and spreading of hairs is very frustrating you end up with piles of hair so have a hoover close by and the hose bit doesn’t really do much

Really impressed with this machine! Previously owned a small bissell spot clean which was great until the tube got crushed during a house move. Invested in this big carpet one and woah I can see instant results. Takes the stress out of having young kids knowing that any mess or spill can be cleaned up. Even if it’s not instantly sorted! Great buy. Little on the heavier size to what I’m used to - but the quality and build is there. It feels industrial and not cheap and flimsy.

This Carpet Cleaner is excellent. I got it for £300 in the Black Friday sales but would have paid the 400 if I'd had to. I bought the Bissel 1.5 ltr stain remover and Bissel 1.5 febreze and mixed the 2. Worked really well and smells fantastic. My carpets came up like new. I used the steam mode then sprinkled bicarbonate of soda over the damp carpet and went back over it with the main cleaning mode. Let it dry over night then went over it a 3rd time with the quick wash which drys in half an hour. The carpet had 2 yrs worth of mouse droppings and mouse urine trodden into it. The photos do not do either the before or after photos credit because of the camera trying to auto correct the colours on the camera but I honestly cannot believe the difference. Saved me buying new carpets. I read some comments which were pretty negative before buying the Bissel but decided to take the risk because of the nature of my soiled carpets and the steam feature the Bissel comes with. The motor is powerful and that combined with the stiff twin rotating brushes really got the job done. It is quick to empty and refill. I also like the fact I can replace the brushes if I need to. You can also replace the water tanks. The Cleaner has run perfectly and I've had no problems with it. I feel like it's money we'll spent. The half an hour drying time on the quick wash will come in handy for being able to maintain the carpets in the future without it being a mission.
