I should have written this review years ago! This Bacon Jerky (Siracha) and Beef Jerky (Original) are so incredibly tasty and addictive! I've been enjoying every kind of jerky I can try for over 50 years! Everyone has their own tastes and preferences of course, regarding thickness, chew, flavor, spice, heat, freshness, etc. However, when I finally stumbled upon this company and their products several years ago, I just found it is such an overall perfect balance of everything! This review is for the Siracha Bacon Jerky and the Original Beef Jerky. The flavors are perfect! Just a wonderful balance of flavor! Amazing customer service too and they respond so fast to any questions! I've tried thousands of different brands of jerkies. These beef and bacon jerkies really are the absolute best! Before you experience them, you just can't imagine how good they are. And unless you've tried thousands of jerky products, you really can't appreciate just how amazing it is when you come across a jerky that has the right balance of everything - freshness, flavor balance, easily chewable, right size, tearability, thinness, flavor lingers, just everything! It took half a lifetime to find this product and my family is never going back! Thank You so much! They are really addictive products, that's the only downside! My family has been on the Subscribe and Save delivery program (6 packs of Original Beef and 6 packs of Siracha Bacon per month) and we all have to ration them and make sure our order lasts a month and not a few days! Just a great Jerky product. I just love the thin slices, so easy to chew, very fresh and tasty, great flavor balance, not too salty or sweet or spicy or hot, just a great balance all around, and perfect size, great for snacking, lunches, treats, etc! Give them a try! I'm so glad I did!

I have purchased and eaten what has undoubtedly become an unhealthy amount of this bacon jerky treasure. I rarely buy grocery store jerky, not even the "gourmet" kind, as it just never impresses me and ends up being an expensive "desperation" purchase to satisfy a jerky craving. I'm a snob that either eats homemade or bothers to drive myself to a craft store. But THIS STUFF has become my favorite. I rarely leave reviews, as I'm a lazy jerky snob to boot. However, I gotta give these people props. They have created an addiction I didn't know I had, and will now have to strictly monitor. Thanks for that. If I have one complaint, one minor criticism, it's that the particular batch I got this time was a bit "fatty." Now, under normal bacon circumstances, this would be ideal and praised in almost worshipful fashion. However, being that there is a fine tightrope balance between bacon and jerky that Mission Meats has dared to precariously walk down (and they own it like a model strutting down the cat walk by the way), the fattiness unfortunately waters down the delicious intensity of flavor and spice. This obviously has more to do with the meat selection, and is bound to happen from time to time. That's it. The tiniest of criticisms. The flavor still rocks, and I hope the recipe never changes. If you ever sold a jar of the marinade, I'd probably drink it. Amazon folks, do yourself a favor. Buy the 6 pack. Or buy two of them. Don't buy the three pack. You'll just be sad when you've eaten all of it in one day, and there's no more bacon jerky to get your sticky fingers on. At least with 6 you've got a good two days of bacon jerky. UPDATE: It seems these folks take reviews quite seriously, as when I purchased another batch, it was the densest, crunchiest, most flavorful pack I've received from them. The fattiness I mentioned was balanced out perfectly. I don't know how they managed it, but I'm grateful. This stuff rocks, and I'm saving up to buy more. MissionMeats, you've got an amazing thing going for you, please don't ever change.

Bacon jerky is fantastic--it's no-effort bacon ready to eat right out of the bag. My only problem with this particular incarnation of it is that it was a little *too* spicy for me. I would have preferred to have the spice toned down a bit.

Amazon delivered right at lunch time, tried one within 5 minutes of receiving --10 minutes later I lost it to the commode, couldn't keep it down YUCK!!!!!!!! Tasted OK but not great and for this price it was horrid that I threw it up in less than 15 minutes. I read the reviews about moldy/spoiled sticks others had rec'd. I looked in my bag $37 for 24 sticks so I expected excellence but got way less :( There is an opened, seal broken stick and a mangled stick. I will NOT eat these! What a waste!! There has to be a way to return them. HELP!!! They were just delivered less than hour ago UPDATE!!! I emailed the seller and Troy was very helpful. He said he would send me replacement and that 99% of all their packaging never fails but if it does there are no preservatives. I put mine in fridge and ate another one next day, so far so good! I will update again when he sends my replacements. No one or thing is perfect but customer service to make it right it huge!! Thanks Troy! WOW!! Troy delivered and I now am satisfied with the customer service I rec'd and for sure feel it was just a bad batch that I 1st rec'd. I am changing my 1* to 5*...I still think these are VERY expensive but I am happy with the product!

This stuff is dangerous! It's also magic as it disappears without warning! Ok, so the basics. Bacon. Can you ever go wrong with this one delectable item? No, no you can't. The jerky bacon is chewy, firm and you get the full bacon flavor with a crispness to it. The heat is an awesome addition. I like spicy (read I eat fire) and this doesn't seem spicy to me but I could see it being warm to some. It's not overpowering by any means and this jerky melds the bacon goodness with sriracha well. I've ordered it 3 times for myself and once for my ma, whom also loved it. It's pricey but worth it. I added it to a burger and an omelette - flavor shined through. Don't hesitate, join the addiction!

I bought a 3 pack of this bacon jerky and a 3 pack of bacon jerky from carnivore candy in a similar flavor at the same time. I almost didn’t get the carnivore candy because I assumed it wouldn’t be as good since it’s a little less expensive and half the fat of this mission meats brand. Boy was I wrong, I find this stuff inedible, it’s way too strongly seasoned and very wet (as you can see in the pictures, the carnivore candy is much drier, no wet sauce floating around in the bag). The carnivore candy was thicker, not as strongly seasoned (actually edible), drier (like real jerky) and had half the fat content for the same serving size as the mission meats, plus it’s $2 cheaper. I’m just glad my spouse is a human trash can and doesn’t mind finishing this stuff off so I don’t have to throw it out, in the meantime I’m ordering another 3 pack (x2) of the carnivore candy because I’ve already eaten the first 2 bags...

The top of my Amazon page says I’ve ordered the Kickin’ Sriracha 3-pack 11 times(!) While that is an ungodly amount of bacon, it speaks to how delicious and crave-worthy this bacon jerky is. It’s spicy with a hint of sweet, with the perfect balance of meat and fat and a pleasant aftertaste. I enjoy jerky that is a little moist and not bone dry, so I much prefer Mission Meats to Carnivore Candy. Yes, this jerky is greasy but I say it’s bacon, it comes with the territory! It’s true the strips would not stand up in a jar as shown and are folded in the bag but they disappear way too quickly for me to care about aesthetics. Definitely get at least the 3-pack! ;)

O. M. Geeeee! These will blow your mind! They are sweet, and savory and spicy and and and I am running out of adjectives because all I can think is how I can quit my day time job to become a professional Mission Meats Bacon Jerky eater. For me these are a treat. As in I'd just buy one or two packs a month because they do have sweeter in them and I try to keep my carbs low...this being the exception. I had to go out for dinner a few days ago and I had some cold veggies already cooked and I just tossed the bacon cut in pieces on top of the veggies and was able to make me a quick to go dinner in a matter of seconds...super practical to have on hand. Would be fab with some cold basmati rice (cold is more starch resistant than hot...just like potatoes are)....as the rice would have a lovely cooling effect to the spunk and spice in the jerky. So, wait no more: BUY YOU SOME! :)
