Die Autorin beschreibt in ihrem Buch, wie chemische Substanzen dafür verantwortlich sind, dass unser Fettstoffwechsel zerstört wird. Sie zeigt verschiedene Statistiken, in denen man sieht, dass das Gewicht im Laufe der Jahre im gleichen Maße angestiegen ist, wie die Entwicklung der chemischen Substanzen.Diese nehmen wir über unterschiedlcihe Wege auf: Pestizide am Gemüse, über die Luft, über Kosmetik, über Antibiotika im Fleisch, über Pestizide, die durch die Tiernahrung ins Fleisch gelangen oder über Verpackungsmaterialien.Das Buch ist schokierend und lehrreich, es lässt sich gut lesen und man kann am Anfang Kapitel überspringen, um schneller zu wissen, welche Lebensmittel man meiden sollte und später den Rest lesen.Es ist gut geschrieben, jedoch auch etwas ausschweifend, deswegen habe ich springend gelesen.Man kann sehen, dass viele der Lebensmittel, die wir als sehr gesund betrachten sehr vergiftet sind.Später im Buch gibt es eine ausführliche Liste mit vielen Lebensmitteln und der Einstufung von Very high bis Very low. Danach kann man dann versuchen, die Lebensmittel mit den meisten chemischen Kalorien so weit es geht einzuschränken.Das ganze Buch ist allerdings sehr amerikanisch, deshalb fehlen mir ein paar typisch deutsche Lebensmiitel.Ich versuche nun, diese Ratschläge zu befolgen und hoffe, dass die 1.000.000. Diät funktioniert ;)Ich würde mir wünschen, dass es das deutsche Buch von der Autorin Die Detox-Diät wieder zu kaufen gibt, am liebsten als Kindle Version, da würde ich mir noch ein paar weitere Erkenntnisse versprechen.

A very informative book, clearly written and easy to understand.  Everything she writes makes a lot of sense.  I like the fact that she gives solutions that we can apply to our lives to reduce toxins in our bodies.
