I like these the reviews were misleading. If you hesitant I’d say go ahead and order. I don’t know how long or week the gold will last before it tarnish especially after several uses in the sun but for what I see, they are good.

This is great for our events. They look fantastic and feel pretty well made. The ropes are soft velvet. Easy to put together. Need to put sand into the base for weight. Borrowed some of the kids play sand. They stand firmly and pretty stabile.

I love these ropes. It is a nice way to add some elegance to your events. Even if they aren't needed, being the first thing that your guest sees give a nice touch to your event. They are nicely made, quality material, and gives you a nice welcoming feel while telling your guess to stay within one side of these ropes
