Essence Absolue Oil – For All Hair Types | Lightweight multi-benefit formula with Japanese camellia oil, hydrates, adds shine, reduces frizz, heat protection

This oil is lightweight and soaks easily into the hair giving it protection from drying/styling devices and keeping it from frizzing in humid weather. I am able to use only this after washing/conditioning my hair and it keeps my hair supple and hydrated and smooth during and after my blow out. I get compliments on my hair all the time. I have four different wave/curly textures of hair (from large S wave all the way to coils), and this one product allows me to really tame my hair and give it shine. I have blonde hair with some highlights that are growing out, and I have fine to medium hair strand thickness, so I need something that seals in moisture and keeps my hair from frizzing in the humidity while also protecting it and not weighing it down. This is PERFECT for that, and my blowouts last for DAYS. I only have to wash my hair 1-2 times per week between using this for blowouts and sometimes dry shampoo at the roots. But I have tried a ton of products, and this one delivers exactly what I need all in one - so I actually spend the same or less than having to use multiple products and buy them more often to get the same results I get with this one product. Even though the price has gone up in recent years, I will always use it before blow drying my hair. I also add a bit of it to the mid-lengths and ends whenever I want to hydrate and get more shine between washes. And if you are sensitive to smells like I am, you will probably like this since the smell is light and does eventually fade. I actually love the smell of this, which is a light floral scent, and that is a rare occurrence. If I could give this ten stars, I would.

This product is absolutely phenomenal! I know it’s a little pricey, but it’s worth it. I have thicker more coarse hair and it smooth and shines it perfectly! And the best part about the product, is there is barely a scent. I really have become very particular to smells, and I don’t like coconut, argon, any floral scents , this is barely noticeable. So happy I found it!

Wow. Just wow. I’ve had TWO different hairdressers tell me that I have the finest hair they’ve ever seen. As a result, I have never been able to find a good oil that my hair can absorb. Until now, that is. This stuff is truly the nectar of the gods. It makes my hair smooth, soft, and most importantly, *it actually feels thicker*! Yes, it’s expensive, but it’s absolutely worth it.

I have tried just about all hair oils. I resisted this for so long due to the cost. I am so glad I decided on it. I am on my third bottle now over the years, and I can't forsee using anything else. This company selling it is wonderful as well. My second bottle arrived not looking like prior purchases. Kind of cloudy and with a residue. It was new and sealed so it was likely a fluke thing. I was able to exchage it, and my new one came just like it usually is. I have very long, dimensional blonde hair. I have a lot of hair, but it is fine. I use this before blow drying and sometimes to tame flyaways afterwards. It does not weigh my hair, takes care of frizz, smells fresh and not overpowering and moisturizes without a greasy feel or look. I highly recommend!

Closest I have found to Kerastase Oleo Relax. Better in that you use less and the smell is better. Will be buying again. Leaves hair soft and frizz free

Great product for my curly hair

Light oil, I highly recommend it. It definitely does it’s job, great size for the value of money. You don’t need that much of it and it definitely lasts a long time especially if you use it every day.

This whole product line is so good for people with curly hair . I’m Able to blow dry my hair straight with ease. The blow dry serum is exceptional when used with this product.

Carisimo… Ojala hubiera una pagina de shu uemura México para tener los precios como en USA (más baratos) pero es la cosa más maravillosa que me ha pasado, el brillo que aporta es irreal… De verdad lo mejor que he podido pedir y ya se que hair oil se va a quedar conmigo, ni los de kerastase hacen esto

Excelente inversión, recomiendo comprar el de 100ml por que se termina super rápido.
