Bigger and better than I thought
bigger than I thought. Pretty easy to build and fun to play with. You can take the gears off and put them back on pretty easily for landing

Itโs crap
This is crap. Instructions are difficult to decipher and there is no order to the packaging. Pieces donโt easily fit together and so it constantly falls apart when trying to assemble. There is no way a 6 year old could complete it. No one can complete it, itโs missing pieces

Great Lego dupe!
My 9 year old loved building this! The details are perfect and easy to assemble. The price was great! Instructions were worded nicely, easy to follow.

Cool build, unimpressed with quality
Definitely not Lego quality. The airplane is cool, bigger than expected, so still a good deal for the price. My 6 year old does legos all the time but had a hard time with this one and needed a lot of help. It falls apart a lot and every time we fix one part, another comes off. We will be gluing it so he can just play with it. Instructions were confusing and the bags were not organized. Overall a cool build but giving quality a thumbs down

Definitely Not Lego, but a good deal for 491 pieces at $20
Ok, this is NOT Lego brand and the pieces do NOT snap together as easily and durably as Lego. They take a little more pressure and patience, but I DID fit them all together. Unlike some reviewers, I did get ALL the pieces,. When you open the box, just ignore the instructions to set out the bags by number. They are NOT numbered in any easy-to-read manner and, after just a few minutes of building, I realized the pieces were NOT bagged in sequential order of use. The pieces you need are scattered throughout the bags, so just open them all up and sort by color, then shape. I did not find the assembly instructions any harder to follow than real Lego instructions, but the assembly is much more flimsy and the parts fall back apart more easily than real Lego as they are handled. I just got out my SuperGlue and started to glue the parts together that looked like they would give me trouble as I added more pieces and would have to put pressure on them later, especially the floor of the plane, the curves of the roof, the wings and the landing gears. I would also suggest skipping ahead to page 28 and applying the decals BEFORE assembly. As I said, the finished product is a bit delicate and It doesnโt take much pressure to fall apart again. Especially the hinged doors - rather ingenious, but they fell apart several times as I tried to apply the decals at the very end. Overall, unless your kid is a patient genius, this is NOT meant for the average 6-8 year olds unless there is considerable parental help. Maybe 9-10+ would be more realistic. That being said, for 20 bucks for a big plane and 3 vehicles, this was a pretty darned good deal. I kind of wish now I had sprung for the larger set with the control tower too, but my grandson was only interested in the smaller set.

A great gift
This is a wonderful set. The airplane was actually fairly big, so my kiddos were even more surprised. It took them some time to Put it together, which I preferred, but once they did, they were so proud of it. It is a great gift. The design is excellent. And it is surely appropriate for the age of 8-11 and perfect value at that.
