You can feel confident about the testing of heavy metals in their chocolate. I love the taste of this one with the Oaxacan spice. Cinnamon; Cardamom; Ginger & Cayenne. The Cacao is from small family farms. I use the recipe provided with the product and can drink it with just the hot water and cacao or I can add Monk Fruit or Stevia for a little sweetener. I love the intense rich flavor and I love how it is healthy for the mind, emotions and body.

I give 3 stars because the product is great. But the customer service is lacking. I ordered recently and my chocolate arrived "Half" or at least 1/3 melted into a large block. Not that big of a deal I suppose. But since the instructions are to allocate a number of "discs of chocolate" ..... how do I manage this "block" of melted chocolate? Today I tried and had to chip at it with a knife. Not a big deal, but there was waste. Anyway ....... I mentioned all of this to the Owner. He apologized, which was nice, but that was it. How about ---- "Hey, buy another bag and I will throw in a Free bag". Buy One Get One. I would have taken him up on that. I didn't expect him to send me another bag for free. But how about a deal? Does it matter? I think it does. There are PLENTY of companies selling ceremonial chocolate. Customer Service, these days, is as important as the actual product. 5 stars for the chocolate. 1 star for Customer Service.

Very delicious! My daughter and I drink in the mornings. It isn’t cheap but I believe the quality to be superb.

Though it is a quality product, it wasn’t nearly what I was expecting for such an expensive purchase. You really need double of what the directions say for my liking. Plus the spices were barely noticeable in my opinion. I love helping small businesses succeed but I won’t be purchasing this again.

My cacao arrived in my hot mailbox melted. Boo... In the past, It was delivered to my doorstep and not melted.
