We love these!! Just bought them for a family trip! Kids stayed up late and we wanted them to sleep in. We put these up on the window and they actually worked. It blocked out the sun and our kids slept in as planned. These portable blackout shades are super handy for blocking out light when you need it. The suction cups stick well to windows and they really do a good job darkening the room. They’re lightweight, easy to pack, and simple to put up and take down in just minutes. They don’t look fancy, but they’re very functional. As long as you don’t mind a temporary setup, they get the job done really well. Great value for the price if you need portable blackout coverage.

Do you need to block out the sun, but not necessarily permanently, or in a super attractive way? You are in the right place! We had a leak in our primary bathroom. When the mold remediation company was drying the place out, they took down the plantation shutters. Without them, the afternoon sun is just brutal through the bathroom window on hot days. And then my entire upstairs level gets overheated as a result. But, I didn't want the hassle of installing real drapes or blinds or shades, just to have to remove them in a few weeks when we start re-building the bathroom. Enter this curtain. It grabs on to the window with suction cups, and blocks probably about 98% of the light. A little bit of light pokes out around the edges, but that's no big deal. (For me, anyway - if you need absolute perfect blackness, then buyer beware.) It has fixed the issue as well as I could possibly expect. Super quick to install. It is admittedly not the most stylish solution. From the outside of the house, it kind of looks like I have a trash bag hanging in the window. Inside the house, it is absurdly long. But I do not care about any of this. My bathroom is a disaster area anyway - I'm missing several huge chunks of drywall, there's no sink, and half my shower has been jackhammered away. For my particular situation of just needing something temporary but effective to keep the room from reaching 900 degrees for a few weeks, it's perfect.

We've bought this three times, because it's just that good. I didn't want to buy from Amazon, because their products tend to be cheap imitations, but this is the exception. It is the best, most durable, most customizable, and easiest blackout curtain on the market. I've bought multiple because we keep giving them away while traveling to people who babies who just WILL NOT SLEEP. We use it full time at our house as well, because it's so easy to put up and down. Highly recommend this one.

Ultimately I’m very glad I got this product. We recently traveled out of state and would not have had any way to block light in the Airbnb for our toddler without this curtain. In the past we have just draped a towel over the curtain rod but this house didn’t have curtain rods so we would not have had any way to adapt. This curtain did a good job of actually blocking light to create a dark space for our child’s naps and nighttime sleep. My only complaint is that 1-2 of the suction cups didn’t want to stick, but they held better after getting them slightly wet before adhering it to the glass window. Ultimately I’m glad I purchased this and will definitely be bringing it along on future trips!

I bought 4 of these for travel. The price is fantastic for ease of use, small size when folded up for travel, and coverage on various window sizes. Other reviews are correct that using only the suction cups will allow a bit of light around the edges. You could, in theory, easily duck tape that for better coverage. But I personally didn’t need it. My two year old sleeps fine with a tiny bit of natural light around the edge. These still offer fantastic coverage for those very bright summer beach rentals that always seem to have the thinnest white blinds. If you or your kid requires absolute darkness - like a cave - you may be better off with one of those crib pods. I suspect most people don’t actually need that and for us these work very well. No issues with suction but did dampen a few times for stronger stick. In those cases the cup fell off right away. I have the solid black and the moon prints and they offer the same great coverage.

Lifesaver! Got this for an Airbnb that inexplicably had no curtain in the bedroom. Super easy to put up, excellent at blocking the light. Once you get the hang of the velcro you can really play around with cleaning. I did originally get the black curtain with little white stars, but it seemed designed to suck my cat's hair towards it. Never seen anything attract so much cat hair. This beige version seemed much better and ended up being more stylish. Left zero marks on the window despite being up for almost two weeks, during which time it didn't budge. The liner is a black and a bit plasticky, but that is why it worked. May carry this on trips from now on. Easy to pack up in the carrying case.

My bedroom window faces east and the sun is directly in my face in the mornings and my blinds just aren’t enough, so I’m trying this curtain out. First of all, it’s huge. I had to cut it in half to fit my window, but now I have some extra to put in another window. The suction cups could definitely be better quality, they kept falling off until I scrubbed the window with rubbing alcohol and cleaned the cups with it as well and now they seem to be holding better. The darkness this creates is not as much as I had hoped for, it’s more of a “greyout” than a “blackout” effect, but better than nothing. The pattern is cute even though I can’t really see it being behind my blinds and the material seems durable. Overall, this curtain is decent and easy to put up especially if you don’t want to mess around with drilling holes in your wall and installing anything permanent. Perfect for renters.

These are really effective blackout blinds and the suction cups make installation super easy. I’ve now bought 3 of these. We have a really awkward shaped (hexagonal) window in one of our bedrooms (shown in photo), and while not the most aesthetically pleasing solution, this blind means the baby can sleep in that room (it was bright as day beforehand). Suction cups do come loose from time to time, but for the price I don’t mind re-sticking them now and again - I find a damp cloth rubbed on the suction cups before sticking down helps.

Fantastisch product! We’ve been using these curtains for 1,5 years now. It keeps light and heat out!!! It’s also very convenient to bring these on vacation, when staying at a hotel. Unfortunately, the suction cups came loose recently. But we’ve been taking off the curtains on a daily basis, in a not so careful way, so that’s only a logical consequence. I’m going to buy the curtains again, and be more gentle this time.

Great for home move, travel, car etc be mindful the whilst the suction on leds is great, they do easily come apart when trying to remove. Otherwise great quality product and price
