The Inappropriate Baby Book: Gross and Embarrassing Memories from Baby's First Year

This is the third time I am gifting this book to expectant parents, and this one is going to my nephew and his wife along with a quilt I plan to make for their baby. The prior recipients have loved it!

Parenting will make you laugh more than you ever imagined, and this book is a fun reminder of all those gross, icky moments that somehow made you laugh. This is a great gift for new dads - especially since new moms often get the pretty, "baby is all sweet and tiny" memory books. The gross stuff is important to remember too! Just think of how you'll be able to bring out this book on your child's wedding day, or to share with them when they're expecting their first child. Each page has a different "theme" and plenty of room for you to write down what happened. Topics include the first time baby pooped in the tub, when mom was embarrassed by breast milk leakage in public, etc. It's a nice way to remind parents that keeping a sense of humor is really the only way to survive rearing a child.

Thought it was going to be ALOT MORE creative then what it was

This book is hilarious! It is like a traditional baby book where you record the special moments of your baby's first year with spaces for you to write and to tape things. This book, however, prompts a new mom to record those "embarrassing moments" in a newborn's first year. Some of these moments include the first thing you put in your nose, the embarrasing places mommy breast feed you, and all the public places mommy changed your diaper! It is so funny, that it will prompt a new mom to actually record these things. Great idea, great gift, great book!The book itself is also cute as button with terrific graphics and a nice, hardback cover! It you are a new mom, you have got to get this book! It Gets Easier! I gave this to my friend and she absolutely loved it. I highly recommend it… IF your new mom has a great sense of humor. If she is easily offended then I would pass.

I was happy to receive the "Inappropriate Baby Book: Gross and Embarrassing Memories from Baby's First Year" and had a good laugh with all the "First's" that you can document. Not a good choice for parents that have no sense of humor. I loved it!! I bought it for a young, first-time mother and plan to include this book with some other baby shower gifts. I can bet that no one else will have this same book. I wish I had something like this for my son (who is almost 18) because I know that he would have had quite a kick reading about his "disgusting" self - hahahaha!! I recommend this baby book for those who can find humor in daily life.

Love this book! I got it for both my babies! I read it back 3 years after my first baby and I was so happy we wrote down all the things book is asking about! Fun book for parents! And not only first timers :)

Está chistoso pero es muy simple en realidad son varias hojas con el título de lo que debes escribir y algunas impresiones como la tapa y se acabó, todo el centro de la hija en blanco para que tú escribas lo que te sugiere, como primer batidillo de popó, y cosas graciosas pero ni un marco especial para fotos, recuerdos o algo así. Solo trae un sobre en la última hoja para que metas algún recuerdo asqueroso, pero como es un sobre pues no hay mucho que se le pueda meter. Está simpático para regalo pero es muy simple.
