I’ve been using the liquid moly products now for 3 to 4 years in Audi vehicles however I saw that this was also available in a 5W/20 blend for ram pickup trucks. I have a 2018 ram 1500 (5.7L gas) and 2+ years back it developed the famous hemi tick when I was using Mobil-1 extended protection full synthetic oil that I changed every 5,000 miles but it just didn’t seem suited to the ram truck and I wanted something better so I switched to Royal purple 5w/20 Full synthetic and this seemed OK but the lifter tick would come and go (and sometimes it came badly) so when I found that you could get the liquid Molly for the ram trucks, I switched to this about 9 months ago and it has been engine honey and very quickly the lifter tick went away and 20,000+ miles later it has still not come back. Couple of quick things1. I did run the liquid Molly engine flush, but from memory, I ran this when still using the royal purple and the tick would come and go.2. Remember, Ram Trucks are also notorious for breaking manifold bolts and developing a nasty manifold exhaust tick as well, so if you have the same problem, make sure you know which engine tick noise you have! I also had the manifold tick that initially came from 3x broken manifold bolts in my factory manifold, i’ve been changed to Shorty BBK headers but these only last about 15-20,000 miles before they start breaking welds or bolts start coming looks, so I’ve now gone back to a high quality aftermarket manifold that has so far been excellent as I use my truck pretty hard, often pulling a 10K rated dual axle Equipnent trailer with heavy loads and I barely since I’ve changed over to the Liqui-Moly I barely need to even change this oil before 10,000 miles and it still changes pretty clean (my truck now has close to 150,000). As another note you can solve the ram lifter tick by changing to a high-volume oil pump, however the Liqui-Moly engine oil is Liqui-Magic (at least for my Ram Truck) and wile it’s pricey I think it’s worth every dollar more that you pay for it, and I will never go back to a different oil.

So far seems to be a great oil. The one thing I do love about it is it has uv dye in it makes fun. The oil leaks super easy as long as you have a decently power UV light. My Porsche seems to run well with it.

One of the best engine oil ever used

My 2004 Audi A4 2.0i used to burn almost 2 litres of oil per 1000km. I was looking for a way to fix the problem. Friend of mine recommended to flush the engine using liqui moly engine flush and to use this oil.The combination gave a new life to my car. It now burns only 0.25l of oil per 1500km. The oil stays clear even after 3000km and that means the oil don't lose its properties after It's heated up in your engine. It is a bit expensive, but for the money you get an oil that is a real fully-synthetic oil. Another plus point is that the engine runs as smooth as silk, I couldn't tell if the engine was on or off. Totally recommend it if your VW/Audi(or any other car) burns too much oil.
