After inheriting an indoor cat, I had to scramble to find a good cat litter that would make Mr. Kitty & hubby happy. I also needed a cat litter that would control the odor so hubby wouldn't make kitty become an outside cat. The other criteria was that the litter had to have no odor (no perfume or other smell to mask the cat urine smell -- which actually makes it worse). I tried a few other brands and rejected them for many reasons -- smell of the litter before the cat used it, the dust, the anti clumping, the mess, the fact it had to be replaced so fast -- I was getting frustrated and hubby was a hair from throwing Mr. Kitty out. Thankfully I found Purina Tidy Cat Clumping Free and Clean Unscented Cat Litter. This cat litter is a life saver for Mr. Kitty. There is No smell from the litter even when he uses it -- which is a huge must if you have an indoor cat. The litter clumps right up and absorbs his bathroom habits, making for easy scooping up. The litter is dust free and doesn't make a dusty mess. This litter is easy to clean and last longer as it immediately clumps up and keep the litter box cleaner longer -- which makes the litter last longer -- which saves you money. I can't recommend this enough -- if you have a cat you need this litter.

Best cat litter I’ve ever used. No smell, good clumping, dust level 3/10. I’ve never felt like I’ve smelt litter before

I think this cat litter strikes the best balance between quality and price. It has excellent absorbency and produces very little dust. The granules are also large enough that they don't easily get stuck in the cat's paws and tracked all over the house, It also offers better odor control than other brands. We use this in two different litter robot unit, both works well.

I've been using Purina Tidy Cats Free & Clean Unscented for a while now, and overall it does a good job. The unscented formula is a big plus—no overwhelming fragrance, and it keeps odors under control surprisingly well. The 38 lb. box is also a great value and lasts a good amount of time. However, the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the texture and clumping seem a bit inconsistent from box to box. Sometimes it clumps beautifully and stays firm, and other times it can be a little more crumbly or dusty than expected. It still works, just not always at the same level of performance. Aside from that, it’s easy to pour, doesn’t track too badly, and the lack of added fragrances is a huge win. If consistency were improved, this would easily be a 5-star product. Overall, still a reliable unscented litter option.

This is now the only litter we use. Growing up and visiting homes that had cats, I just thought that every cat house smelled like cat pee. We found ourselves taking in a cat who was abandoned and ordered this stuff. When we ran out, we thought we'd try other scents, other brands, and nothing compares to this. Even the expensive stuff my SIL uses isn't as good as this. I order this on my subscribe and save and it is very cost effective compared to the ones you buy at the store. The smell is absorbed so well, I don't even mind vacuuming up the litter my cat tracks out of his box.

Love this litter, dust free and light on my cats skin with allergies. Love the amount for the money. Wish it had a handle and easier to carry.

I’ve tried countless litters over the years, and this is the one I always come back to. It just works. Here’s why: 1. Dust-Free Myth Truly dust-free, hard-clumping litter doesn’t exist. The fine particles (what people call “dust”) are exactly what make clumps tight and solid. Without them, you end up with gooey, messy clumps. This litter gets it right. 2. Lightweight Litters = Less Litter Lightweight formulas are mostly air. They don’t clump as well, and you burn through them faster. Unless lifting is an issue, you’re getting less for more money. 3. Odor Control That Lasts No litter controls odor forever, but this one does better than anything else I’ve tried. Week 1 = excellent. Week 2 = still strong. By Week 3, it’s time for a full refresh. With one cat and two boxes, I swap everything monthly, and this litter keeps the boxes fresh in between. Bottom line: This litter hits the sweet spot—strong clumping, great odor control, and no gimmicks. After years of testing alternatives, this is the one I trust and recommend every time.

It’s nice litter, however, 38 pound box is way too heavy for me.

Minimal dust,easy to scoop.only brand we use.and the price was great as the small box is 23.99. Highly recommend.

Great price for the size. Every some time we try to save a little and buy cheaper little, unfortunately the cost quickly becomes apparent as cheap litter doesn’t actually clamp and the whole house smells like ammonia. This litter is the absolute best, there’s no smells even when the box is full. I guess it’s worth the price.

Love this litter. It’s not dusty and it’s very lightweight. Odour control is good as well.

If you're looking for the Tidy Cats extra lightweight clumping litter, this is NOT it. It's a REGULAR clumping litter (so it's a heavy box). However, it is high quality litter and when on sale, great value. Smells the same as the extra lightweight one, so mixing and matching works just fine with cats (at least our two cats were fine with it). If you can get this with a coupon or on sale, definitely worth it - on top of it it's delivered to your doorstep.

Prefer over the regular lightweight tidy cat. This is not dusty and is much cleaner. Much more hygienic. Great product in sturdy packaging that is nicely designed to pour out of top (I lean on floor)
