Famous Painting Cards (Art Cards): 1 (Usborne Art and Artists)

The grandchildren like to choose one to try to copy. It is great hearing them use the names of the great artists.

I love these flashcards. I am keen to foster an appreciation for art in my 7-year-old. These cards are a fantastic way of introducing some famous paintings along with interesting facts.

Absolutely beautiful cards! Must have been updated recently as the pack now includes female artists! Theres still room for improvement in this regards but glad to see they’re heading in the right direction. My son and I are going to really enjoy looking at these. They’re a great introduction to art history.

Very happy with these cards! They are of a good quality. The information on the back is brief but very interesting. The paintings themselves are mostly very clear and detailed. A few however could be slightly clearer. We are home educators and use these as part of our art curriculum. Our oldest finds the information on the back fascinating. We'll now be visiting more art galleries now thanks to these cards.

My daughter uses these for her home education and really enjoys them. They have such great info on each card, who painted, where, when, where you can find it now and then a little about the artist or a funny story about how it came to be. Even I’ve found them interesting!

A beautiful way to introduce young children to art in a simple, engaging way. The cards are of a high quality and the information on the reverse is concise and just enough for young children to contend with and for older children to want to find out more. I’ve used them in my job in early years and the children love them.

Following on from nursery work on art I bought these for my 3.5 year old. It was amazing how quickly he learnt the names of some of the artists and recognised styles. We then took him to MoMa in New York and he loved finding some of the originals there

Je trouve cettes cartes géniales pour faire connaître les œuvres d'art de la peinture à un enfant. Pour le moment elle est très petite pour comprendre l'envers des cartes mais je las utilise pour décorer son espace de peindre et elle adore, l'autre viendra plus tard 😉 La taille est très convenable pour des petits mains et les couleurs très similaires aux originaux. This product is the best. Each card is durable and the content is spectacular. The product is worth the price. These cards are a wonderful present or simply something to keep forever. We love it so much that we even scotched taped the box to keep it from damaged for years to come. Thank you for offering this hard to find, but truly loved product.

great cards to begin learning about different artists. wish there were more. These are great for kids and adults.
