Retro Vintage Swing Dress Crinoline Petticoat Underskirt Skirts

I bought this to go under a 50s style dress and it is WONDERFUL! The tulle is rigid enough to stand up on its own, gives my dress exactly the right amount of flare that it needs to look fantastic! It has a thin elastic waistband meaning the skirt begins to kick out from the waist, which was exactly where I wanted it to start from, making my waist nicely defined and my skirt full and floaty. The skirt is knee length and has no horizontal lines across it (as some other petticoats do) and because of this, it gives a lovely smooth line to your dress or skirt.My daughter has her own petticoat, but she tried this on and immediately borrowed it because her petticoat had a long waistband and so didn't kick out in the right way. I know we'll be buying more of these in a variety of colours, because they are perfect for 50s dresses!I can't recommend these highly enough!

This petticoat is just what I was looking for. Not too many layers as the one I already own was to puffy. This one also has a smooth layer next to the legs for more comfortable wear. Delivered exceptionally quickly and perfect fit (I bought a medium and am a high street size 12).

Very stiff on wearing, sticking out a lot randomly here and there. However, I decided to wash it and it is now much more compliant and comfortable.

Very big and puffy - I wasn’t expected it to be so wide - if that’s what you are going for then great!I wasn’t able to make it look as though it was the same length all the way around- it seemed longer at the back but it might just need ironingThe item was packaged very nicely in good quality plastic resealable pouchFit was as expected - I measured myself first but it was just , hmmm, maybe 1 cm too big which makes it just a bit loose.

The petticoat arrived squashed in its plastic sleeve, unfolded very well once open and I thought it looked huge. I tried it on and found that it is flattened by the weight of the dress material and simply looks great. The waist is elasticated and comfortable. Very happy.

Net smells like fish, like it was used in fish cargo. Not tuna or carp but more like monk fish... Very bad smell. I've hand washed it twice and can still smell it. Going to try soaking and airing it over night to see if that helps

Its a little bigger than I thought around the waist, but this isn't and issue. The fabric is thin and is a little static. Despite this it does the job and has great volume.
