Review: Excellent product and a game suitable for all ages - One of 3 excellent versions of Hive, an excellent, 2 player strategy game. All 3 are aesthetically satisfying to play with and it is difficult to choose a 'best' version. This has, perhaps, a more adult feel and look about it, but this is a matter of personal choice. Very good, quality product and highly recommended. N.B. This has been referred to as 'insect chess' and 'chess without a board' and it is an ideal introduction for young children but in this case the colour version would probably be more appealing.

**Q: Does it includes Mosquito and Ladybug ?**
A: Yes it includes the Mosquito and the Ladybug pieces. It does not include the Pillbug which can be purchased separately in the Carbon variety. Wonderful game - enjoy!

**Q: What is the difference between hive and hive carbon?**
A: Hive Carbon pieces are black tiles with white creatures on them and white tiles with black creatures on. Normal Hive pieces are black and white tiles with different coloured creatures on them. Hope this helps.

**Q: If you bought this and the normal coloured version could you perhaps somehow play it up to 4 players?**
A: The thought had crossed my mind in the past, but could be very complicated to actually play. Imagine trying to play chess with four sets of pieces. Hive was developed as a two player fairly quick game to play, so I would think it best to stick to that.

**Q: Are there any plans to produce a pocket carbon version of Hive?**
A: No plans.
