That is on me. I needed a larger bed, which this delivers on, but I didn't need something so hefty. Again, totally on me, but it is still portable as I have to take it to different work stations from time to time. That being said, I love the thing. Durable, easy to read and change units of weight. What is not to like? If I could leave it in one place, it would be perfect.
