After trying several different just stick on to the dash phone holders and everyone lasting at best two weeks before falling off.I opted for this screen mounted type with the magnet end.I don't really need to see my phone whilst driving for the satnav because of the info screen in my car doing the job..But I do like to have somewhere to hold my phone rather than it sitting on the passenger seat or being uncomfortably sitting in my pocket.So I ordered this holder which as always arrived promptly.It is a good steady hold which when tightened up doesn't move nor does it rattle whilst driving.The magnet is plenty strong enough but not so strong that it's a job to remove the phone.It has good adjustment and along en reach to clear the distance from my screen to well over my dash.Should you need to adjust it it's very easy too by the thumb screws which normally only need to be adjusted the one time.I can't complain about this holder but will just warn that you must make sure you get it's positioning correct first time.The reason is because it has an adhesive tape on the suction pad which adheres to the screen extremely well..So well that the suction pad is just a secondary back up and should you need to reposition the holder it's very difficult to get it off the screen once adhered.I would by this again if necessary

Excellent hold on the screen it's that strong I have to use a knife to get it off and it holds my 6 inch tomtom no problem

Attached to my windshield easily. The only downside I have with it is more down to my choice in phone case. I use a flip case (with card slots), and I was hoping to stick the metal plate on the inside of the case behind the phone. Unfortunately, the thickness of the case means that the magnet strength cannot hold the phone in place. In the end I had to stick the plate to the back of the case (negating the flip stand option of the case - which I rarely use). This configuration works well and the phone is held in place very well.The adjustment options of the holder are great, you can move it forward and backwards, as well as angling up and down.

my phone fell off the first time i used it at a little bump i went over on a corner. really disappointed and this isnt safe! i even have a magnet phone case on
