Briggs & Riley ZDX Luggage, Ocean, Carry-On 22 Inch, ZXU122SPX-26

Well, let's face it, this bag is not cheap, so when I needed to replace my old carryon, I was put off by the price but absolutely loved the design, the color, the pockets, and that it was expandable. So I actually ordered 2 bags, a Travelpro and this one. Travelpro is what I usually get because it's such a good value for the money, but I was starting to do a lot of traveling and had a better sense of my needs. I need to easily access full-size yellow pads - and I want to put my water bottle on the outside. Plus, I like having a smaller zip pouch near the top for little items. This item not only does all that, but it looks great and when not expanded is absolutely tiny. I cannot believe how much it holds when expanded. And on 2 recent trips, it was much easier to navigate through the airports, which sometimes have carpet and sometimes hard floors. I also love the look and have just enjoyed having this bag. I haven't used the additional cellphone carrier on the back yet, because I usually have my cellphone on a cord around my neck, but may do that next time. Just a high quality bag. You get what you pay for.

The ZDX line of luggage is the best luggage I have ever used. It is light. It is has the best wheels. As a 125lb, 5ft 4 woman, I can wheel 4-32kg/70lb bags back to back and throw a carry-on across the top of one of them and move them through any international airport. The fabric is super durable. The topside zipper design is the smartest and provides the least room-footprint when you have live out of a suitcase and pack a lot for extended trips. It is expandable. It is easy to add things to when you are already fully packed and need to squeeze in the last few purchases or forgotten items. The design of the handle extensions on the outside of the bags is so smart. It protects the bag when you have to drag it up a stair or a car/bus transfer or the weight machine at check-in. The handles are easy to telescope with different height settings. The zipper is the only thing that has bothered me. Not that the zipper seam has ever been compromised, though I can say one more reinforcement is not a bad choice if you were to make an addition. The only issue is zipper hardware. Please choose a different hardware maker for the zipper- the actual zipper slider/toggle. The customer service is incredible. Send in no questions asked and get back beautifully. I want to mention also the wheels design of this luggage has survived and outperformed on miles of pitted concrete between countrys’ borders. Holy Grail of luggage! Please never ever discontinue this line. P.S. customization of color or monogramming for ZDX line might be fun as an option. Gratefully yours, Margaret J. I have a 20 year old old Eagle Creek Hovercraft 26 inch upright suitcase with 2 wheels that I wanted to replace with a 4 wheel suitcase. I ordered the Eagle Creek 26 inch upright and it was cheap, awful, and much smaller than my old Eagle Creek26 inch upright. It was so inferior to my Hovercraft which is still in great shape. I ordered the Briggs and Riley ZDK 4 wheel upright and it is WONDERFUL! The suitcase is easy to push around and is balanced and sturdy when upright. It does not fall over! The material is extremely sturdy and the life time warranty is exactly what I need for frequent travel. The interior is roomy, has 2 great pockets in the top of the suitcase and a great compression strap in the bottom of the suitcase. The expansion is great and adds much additional space. I love the exterior 2 pockets as I use them constantly for things I need quick access too. I am not sure what happened to the quality of Eagle Creek luggage, but I am completely happy with my Briggs & Riley luggage! I HIGHLY recommend this luggage. Although it is a bit more expensive, I can tell it will last many trips and may years!

I rarely write reviews. This suitcase however deserves many accolades. I purchased this case to travel light while visiting Europe and to insure easy maneuverability. This suitcase exceeded my expectations. I packed for a 15 day trip with ease. We traveled by plane, train and automobile. We maneuvered cobblestone streets and stairs with ease. I watched my husband struggle with his bag (he'll be getting this one for Christmas!). I cant say enough about this. Because its a soft case, it expands easily and was able to pack everything I needed. I was able to carry on with the exception of a small intercountry flight in Italy. I was a bit hesitate to spend the money on this suitcase, but it comes with a lifetime warranty! Don't hesitate-buy it!

When I got my new job and learned it would involve a lot of travel, I realized my 15-year-old free Ralph Lauren bag wouldn’t cut it anymore. Now, let’s level here; this is not a cheap bag at all. Yes, you can get a cheap carry-on bag from a department store. It’ll work for a while. But it’ll inevitably break. Definitely before this one will. And this one will have something break on it eventually because the existence of a piece of luggage is eternal suffering. That’s where the lifetime warranty comes in. I haven’t had to use it yet, but it’s a huge reason I went with this bag. But just as a piece of luggage, it’s the best thing I’ve ever used. It’s as good-looking as a carry-on can get. It’s got more pockets than I know what to do with half of the time. The power bank pocket on the back allows me to change all my devices without even taking the bank out. The top front pocket holds everything the TSA won’t let you carry in your pants and shirt pockets. If you’re paranoid, it even has RFID blocking. All in all, this luggage makes me look forward to traveling.

I've been a Briggs & Riley customer for many years and have found their quality to be excellent. I had a B&R carry-on bag but it was a bit larger than what international carry-on dimensions allowed and didn't have four "spinner" wheels. Before choosing B&R for this purchase I looked at many other luggage manufacturers but found that this bag had the features, quality, size, and weight that fit my needs. After a recent 9 day vacation to London using only this carry-on and a small personal backpack I am confident that I made the right decision. The ball bearing wheels spin and rotate effortlessly making this bag a breeze to roll through the airports. The zippers glide smoothly to open up the well thought out storage areas, and the telescoping handle has a feeling of sturdiness and precision. My previous B&R luggage is wonderful and likely will last for many years to come. This new B&R addition with all of its updated features, improved weight characteristics, and pleasing aesthetics mean that the old bags will likely see less time traveling with me. My wife and I do quite a bit of international travel and I feel very comfortable recommending this bag.

I travel professionally as a pilot and I have been using Briggs and Riley luggage for almost 20 years. Their lifetime warranty makes it well worth the value. Whenever I’ve had an issue I’ve been able to get it repaired. The luggage is also high-quality great rollers, zippers, and manufacturing other colleagues have seen my luggage and went out and bought their own so when I needed a bag for my wife, I saw this one on sale and got it for her and she loves it! It’s also a nice size because it’s easy to fit in an overhead bin but yet it’s expandable.

Excellent. First time using it we got caught in a flood!! No issues at all. Streets flooded, cars stalled haf to wade through water 1.5 km to get to the airport

Maleta correcta, de momento sin pegas. Supuestamente esta marca es super fiable y proporciona garantia de por vida (supongo en cremalleras, ruedas, asa, pero no temas estéticos), por eso el alto precio. Vamos a ver. He tenido Samsonite DLX y no resisten uso intensivo (problemas con cremallera y asa), espero que este modelo no me de problemas, y si los da que la garantia funcione de verdad.
