I’ve used quite a few body lotions over the years, and this one is easily one of my favourites for tackling dry skin. The lotion has a rich, creamy texture but absorbs surprisingly well without leaving my skin feeling greasy or sticky afterwards. What I liked: * Leaves skin feeling noticeably softer and smoother. * A little goes a long way. * Provides long-lasting hydration, especially on dry areas like elbows, knees and shins. * Pleasant, classic NIVEA scent that isn’t overpowering. * Large 400ml bottle offers excellent value. Things to consider: * The rich formula may feel a little heavy for those who prefer very lightweight lotions. * The fragrance, while pleasant, may not suit those who prefer completely fragrance-free products. I’ve been applying it after showering and my skin feels moisturised throughout the day without needing to reapply. The almond oil gives it an extra nourishing feel, and it works particularly well during colder weather when my skin tends to become much drier. Nivea has always been a well known brand that's affordable yet quality, with this moisturiser/lotion being no different. It's quite difficult to find a really nice thick moisturiser but this is definitely one of them. The closest I can liken it to in thickness is that of a Greek yoghurt. (Albeit smoother) The pump works really well despite the thickness and comes out in a nice consistency. The smell is really good too, a nicely but softly fragrance of botanicals. When I applied it to the skin it's as if I can almost instantly feel the moisture hitting my skin without that unpleasant greasy feeling you get with too thin of a lotion. I have a shaved head and apply this every evening and even under my beard to keep everywhere well hydrated. For the very modest purchase price and the overall effectiveness, I am really pleased, will reorder in the future and happily recommend.

This is a great lotion and excellent value for money. It's thick but absorbs almost immediately, and moisturises dry skin really well. I wouldn't say the claim of 72 hour hydration is entirely accurate, I need to use it more regularly than that when my skin is very dry in summer, but it's very good. One thing I don't love about it but I appreciate is a personal preference, is the scent. It's the classic NIVEA scent, which some people may like but I find a bit dated and floral.
