FITKICKS Original Women's Foldable Water Shoes

I ordered this colored pair first and got a large. I wear an 8 but a lot of these kind of shoes run small so I ordered the large. They fit ok, a little long but very comfortable. The band around the top is just a little tight so if you are very wide at the top of your foot and wide ankles you may have a problem. I really like these, very good to run outside or even to wear out everyday if you wanted to. They have a nice sole that is sturdy but not too heavy to lounge around the house in. I can still curl up on the couch and put my feet under me comfortably. I like this pair so much that I got another pair, the solid color. I also got that pair in large but there was a significant difference in size. The solid colored pair were much tighter than the multicolored pair. I had to double check that they were large and not medium. I still like the fit and use them more outside (I wore them when I climbed on top of our camper to clean the roof-worked perfect!). The tighter fit and non slip are great for climbing ladders and other tasks that you need to be stable. The top band doesn't seem to be any tighter than the multicolored pair so these work. Just be aware that there seems to be a difference in fit between the colors. I had tried a cheaper pair but they were really tight around my foot and I had to send them back. I think these are worth the money. Just FYI I am a 69 year old woman.

Great for wearing around the house, walking to the mailbox. Non-slip soles are essential for walking on tile and hardwood floors.

These might be the ugliest examples of footwear I have seen in a while, but they are the most comfortable I have ever owned. They are made of an acrylic fabric on top and rubber soles that bend with your foot easily. I really like that they are lightweight (pop them in the wash and they air dry in an hour) and yet keep my feet warm. Plus I can run out to the mailbox because the soles are kind of indoor/outdoor and not bulky, heavy or hard so they are nice inside the house, but tough enough that the gravel doesn't hurt my feet through the shoe. These are really amazing for as simple as they seem and for less than $20 you cannot go wrong. I bought the black ones and wore them all day for a week (I am a stay at home mom) but with yoga pants I could have easily run to the store in them. I then bought these grey ones to go with the grey yoga pants. Even after constant wear, including heavy cleaning, they washed up nicely and show no signs of wear after about 3 weeks of hard wear and tear. I am not easily this impressed with a product and I was not given any kind of discount or freebie for my review. As for size, some people say they run small. I got a size bigger because of this and I think they are a bit too big but not enough to complain about. I do think if I had gotten my regular size they would have been small. Since these are stretchy, flexible shoes, size is not a huge issue. Lastly, new studies have come out saying that the best way to live is barefoot. All the supportive shoes we wear have made out foot muscles weak which leads to tripping, painfully tired feet and makes you more susceptible to injury.. Doctors are recommending you go barefoot whenever possible. Even weight lifters now have "barefoot shoes". These little shoes are great because you really feel barefooted and you are getting the benefits of the barefoot workout but the feet are protected by the rubber sole. It even has a reinforced toe (you can see it as a different color on the shoe) where its most likely to wear out. I am now going to go buy the blue pair just for the fun of it. Buy these, you will not be sorry. Oh and I recommend you get your true size. If you are a half size I would round up.

My experience- wore them to the beach at Chincoteague Island. This beach has very soft sand. The first day was amazing. I loved them. I wore them in the ocean, I wore them as I casually walked down the beach searching for seashells etc. They didn’t fill with sand, my family kept getting their toes pinch by crabs in the water or stepping on sharp shells but the shoes protected me. Day 2: I went for a long walk down the beach. This was a bit more of a faster pace, we were just walking and talking etc. i noticed my fitkicks started to feel a little awkward. After we got back (a couple miles on very soft sand and almost completely flat shore), I looked at them and the problem was the soles were starting to move and were crooked inside my shoe. I could actually see the back of the soles sticking out the side of my shoe. I took them off in the water, readjusted them and they felt amazing again. The problem is, they kept doing it throughout the day and the rest of the trip (3 days total). It was really annoying. I love the shoes but I don’t know how they could hold up to someone doing major walking in them. They are really cute and comfy. I recommend them if you are just planning to lounge around or walk short distances in friendly terrain. I do not recommend them if you plan to be super active like walking miles at a time or jumping and playing in big waves where you have to dig your feet in and push off etc. Idk. I thought about trying to glue the sole into the shoe. I really like them and want to use them in the future. I am flat footed…maybe that’s why it happened?

I love my FITKICKS, I’ve had one pair for over 10 years! They are comfortable and wash up so well. I use one pair as slippers and another for walking along the beach. It protects the bottom of my feet from burning and from getting a blister. The color choices get better and better. I bought pairs for my friends.they slip on and hug my feet so well.they dry quickly after getting them wet.

These are very comfortable. I use them as travel slippers when I'm in a hotel. They are cute enough to wear down to the hotel restaurant for breakfast. They do not take up any room in your suitcase. I also use them in our camper. Highly recommended. But if you prefer something more loose fitting, I suggest getting a larger size.

Loved everything except the stitching. I need lightweight, flexible, and protective shoes for fast walking with a barefoot feel. These were incredible on blistering 100°F asphalt! They kept my feet completely comfortable paired with my costco brand wool socks. (These shoes are comfortable both with and without socks) Unfortunately, after only two weeks of light wear, the heel seam split wide open. It’s a stitching failure rather than material wearing through, so it should be an easier fix than i feared, but the initial durability is disappointing.

These water shoes are perfect for walking on the beach or swimming. The bottom is rubber and flexible. The fit doesn’t allow sand inside. This is my second pair!
