We got this water bowl because my cousin got it for her large Dog and one of our dogs (Dolly Parton) really only likes running water to drink. I really like it because it’s not super loud. You don’t hear the motor. The only thing you really hear is a little bit of trickling water which kind of sounds nice. My dogs have been drinking more water since we got this as well, which is nice and it is super easy to clean. We change the charcoal pad filter and the debris filter monthly and scrub it with a little bit of dawn dish soap on the inside it works great. We take the motor out and you can put it in the We. Wash it on the top rack and you can take everything apart, which is really nice and it all goes back together really well. We have not had any issues with the motor at all. When we noticed that it was not really running well, we checked it, and found out that when we were watching my cousin‘s dogs, they had put dog food in and the filter was blocking that food from trying to come back up. I also like that it has a light. You can turn it off with the button on the cord, but the little bit of blue light is kind of nice for the dogs at night and you do see it a little bit during the day, but it’s not crazy bright or anything. It’s just more like a slight ambience.

I love that there's no constant humming or whirring sounds that go with this water fountain unlike others. The others would begin to whine a bit whenever they got low in water so there at least was a warning that it was about to run dry. This one YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT DOESN'T RUN DRY as there is NO WARNING other than the cats are all staring at you altogether at once lol. Set a timer to check it before leaving in the morning and again before going to bed at night to be sure you don't deprive your poor kitties.

I have 3 slobbery dogs so I change the water and filter more often. Dogs drink out of it but they have not let me know if they love it or not 🤣

This system does work, but you need to clean and change filters. I’ve found hair stuck to pump filter, which cleans easily, and top carbon filter seems to get gross if not changed on time, maybe a week or 2 longer than suggested.Nice thing about the filtered water bubbling is that when water starts to get low, the pump will make a pulsing sound. Just don’t let it run dry.

Make sure you get your modle filter to go with the pet fountain you have made that mistake before. Work great.

Love this fountain ! This I'd have bought this sooner , Fountain so light compared to the plastic gravity feed ones also no more water scum , my cats drink a lot more water! I clean it once a week , having 3 cats I check water every 3 days, I add 4 cups of water then. I change filters once a month . This can go into the dishwasher! Also has a blue light which makes it easier to see water level. you can also leave on at night. I bought an extra pump just for whenever I may need it. I would recommend that if you are leaving for a few days to have an alternate water supply, my cat did manage to unplug it when playing. I love that it runs on electricity .

I work very long hours and I’m always worried they will run out. This water fountain has been a game changer. The filters last forever. The only time you can hear it is when it’s running low on water. It’s so easy to replace the filter and also refill it. Definitely was an easy decision to get rid of their normal cat bowls.
