This toy/puzzle is just as advertised and is wonderful in its simplicity!Materials: The box the set comes in is made of cardboard and is very sturdy. The ribbons that keep the top up are attached well; no concern of them being pulled out or disconnected so long as the toy is played with as intended. The magnetic pieces are made of compressed cardboard and should also hold up well if played with properly... my 18 month old got a hold of a few of the pieces already and bent them, which caused the cardboard to separate in a few places; as long as they toy is put in the right hands this should not be an issue. The puzzle posters have sort of a plastic-like finish or sheen on them which is nice as I think it will aid in their longevity.Play Rating: I bought this for my three year old with the intent of giving her something to do during her quiet time. She has now played with it three times and has sat happily and quietly with it for 30+ minutes; no small feat for a 3 year old! I like that this toy does not require batteries and is not overly stimulating. I like that it helps her work on her matching skills and is also exposing her to some different cultures and careers (she had good questions about the Native American and Geisha costumes). Lastly, I really appreciate that this is something she can truly do independently!The only reason I am giving this 4 out of 5 stars is because my daughter has requested twice that the girl be removed from the box so she can play with her; perhaps something that could be done in future productions.I received this toy at a discounted price for providing my unbiased review.

Arriving sealed, this 7 1/2" x 10 3/8" by 1 1/2" box is a great size to not only use at home but to take with you on a car journey or when waiting at the airport, doctor's office etc. In the one we ordered, Girl's Outfits, there are EIGHT different dress-up cards. On the lid which stands up there is a girl in her underwear waiting for you to dress her as you so desire. If you want to follow one of the cards, attach a card to the mirror with the two round magnets provided. Pick up the thick magnetic clothes pieces (already loose, do not need to be punched out) and start dressing your girl up.The box lid edge is also magnetic so although not overly strong it does not just flap open. A GREAT gift for the young child in your life. Many hours of pleasure and a box with tray to keep all the pieces in so less chance of losing them. Product provided in exchange for an honest review.
