Seemed OK... broke after only 5 months... replacement harness much better
Seemed like a decent harness and served me well on regular trips out and on two holidays abroad. Unfortunately it broke after five months' use (I used it to lug around a mirrorless camera with a long and heavy 100-400 zoom lens). I think there was a metal washer between the rivet on the hook assembly and the metal clasp on the strap and it must have given way or worn through. Either way I suddenly found myself holding the camera and being aware that it was no longer attached to the harness. Very lucky I was holding the camera at the time as otherwise it would have fallen to the floor and probably broken! Which would have been a very expensive lesson. This made me realise how vital it is to acquire a good quality harness.UPDATE (26 Sept 2018): the company who makes this strap must have seen my review and without prompting sent me a replacement harness with a much-improved hook assembly that doesn't rely on a washer and rivet to stay in place. It also comes with a secondary security loop which acts as a back-up should the hook assembly fail for any reason. I've tried this out and decided to upgrade my original two stars review to four stars as it looks pretty sturdy and should now support a fairly heavy camera/lens combination. In other respects I have always liked this harness as it supports the camera/lens comfortably on the hip without the looseness of other harnesses I have tried. Some other harnesses are too 'dangly' for my taste but this one is just right and allows me to walk a few miles with the camera at my side.

Don't believe every review.
Bought on the back of so many rave reviews, however mine was returned on the same day it arrived. For starters the caribiner / caribeener is very poor quality and the locking mechanism very loose, cheap and a cause for concern. The strap also felt uncomfortable and wouldn't stay put, again like the above this didn't install confidence. We are all built differently and in the grand scheme of things this strap is cheap, but for me it's not something I want attached to an expensive dslr, mainly because I can see the camera ending up on the ground.

A really useful camera strap
I didn't like the way my neck strap made a camera with a longer lens stick out on my chest and made it vulnerable to damage while out and about. this strap is an excellent solution, hanging my DSLR at hip height and keeping it in easy reach. The strap attaches to the tripod mount on the bottom of the camera with a secure carabiner. I'm not completely convinced by the safety clip which is supposed to stop the camera falling off - it feels as if it would a heavy camera would snap it easily. A short steel security cable and sturdier clip would give the user more confidence. Getting the sling on your shoulder each time does require a bit of thought at first... :)On the whole, though it's an excellent alternative to a neck strap and keeps the camera handy yet discrete for quick event or street photography. Recommended highly. One star knocked off for the flimsy feel of the security strap.

Nicama CS1 Camera Shoulder Strap
I have given this a thorough test, went to the Grand Prix. It was great. Easy to use and I felt that the camera was safe all of the time. It was easy to fetch the camera up to my eye and take a picture, then hang it down again. It is so much easier than the standard strap which I find is too short

Great way to carry a camera ready for action
This is a good way to carry a camera if you don't want it round the neck. In this sling it is more out of the way, less visible and even easier to grab and shoot.
