My 7yo granddaughter absolutely loves this!!! The wide variety of materials in the kit allows her to make the cutest outfits and keps her busy for hours. This is perfect for a wide range of ages from very young just beginning to those with more skills. This is not a difficult kit to use by any means. On the first day my granddaughter looked picture perfect as she designed, decorated, cut cloths and fit her outfits to her dolls. This was one of the best gifts ive ever given her!

When it says 800 pieces it is true and such various fabrics and accessories. My granddaughter and I started tonight and she completed 3. She is 7 so wanted to create her own. Very cute. I would say adult supervision in the room until 10. We don't have Barbies but they would be awesome to dress.

Purchased for my 7 year old granddaughter who loves to design and sew for her dolls and stuffies. She loved the set and all of the different accessories included.

Bought as christmas gifts for my granddaughters. They love them and have created some cute outfits. The NEGATIVE: the designs CAN NOT be made permanent because there is no velcro or other binding to hold the designs together--a real bummer. What little girl wants to design an outfit and not be able to keep it and use it on her Barbie doll? The instructions say to tuck the fabric into the dress form and then to disassemble it after designing it! Major design flaw! However, the kit DOES include lots of fabric and designing implements (beads, ribbon, etc). The grands do like it, but it would be much better if the designs could be made permanent. My daughter says she will get some velcro or thread so they can be made as whole outfits.

This was such a great Xmas gift for a 7 yo. The only down side is that you can’t put the outfits on dolls. It brought out her creativity for sure though!

Tape is both side tape but it is super hard to peeling off for kids. It is hard to stick on the mannequin. They need to improve it. Some of material is missing. I gave some materials to her. So it can not follow to manuals. If you have a more money, get more material one. It is nice to learn basic fashion design & grow creativity. The mannequin is totally different one came. It has huge hole on the back but not zigzag.

My daughter LOVES this kit. She is always trying to make Barbie clothes from things around the house. When we got her this kit she spends hours creating new outfits. The kit is very easy to use, it comes with many different fabrics and appliqués, it also comes with a few patterns
