Replaced all my ceiling fans with either wifi enabled or remote controlled models. This makes it so the fixtures only require power from a single switch/toggle instead of the individual switches for both fan and light. This left me with an unused switch in every room since all my bedrooms along with the living and family rooms have an independent switch for each function. Didn't take me too long to remember that I only use one swich to power them on but It left me with an unused switch that swill has connections to live power. To insure guests or my self dont accidentally turn on the dead switch, I wanted to find a cover or a "gang" cover that basically deletes the light swich. Since I have lots of 2-gang, 3-gang, and 4-gang swich pannels that need a switch removed, finding the custom gnag cover with the right position removed was an "online" only deal and those covers were pretty expensive. So instead of waiting for the online shipment of custom switch covers, i got this product and can individually blank out or delete the toggles. Now ofcourse I properly removed the existing switch and wrapped the wires with wire nuts and electrical tape to insure no bare wires are loose in the switch box. This product is the quickest and most cost effective solution if you need to remove a light switch anywhere.
