Excellent..easy to follow recipes

Bought this for my granddaughter’s, I had the original one for their dads. Great for eager little girls to learn cookery.

Our toddler kept on going back to this book even though she has tonnes of other new books to read. The illustrations are super sweet and our toddler is very fascinated by how some of the common dishes are prepared and had requested that we make some of the recipes “just like how they make it in the book”.

Bought this when my kids were small. Now buying it for gandchildren, and hope they too wlll enjoy learning to make some of the recipes. Brownies one a recommend! The pages are now wipe clean, a good idea.

I bought this for my step-daughter who has just turned 10, and is really interested in cookery. I was concerned that the illustrations might be too childish for her, but the book is so well done. The step-by-step instructions are brilliant for kids to follow, and there is a great section on preparation. There are a great range of recipes, from basic to slightly more involved, so allows for some progression. I think this is one she will return to again and again for the basics. I'm very pleased with my purchase, and just so you know, the profiteroles are delicious!

Brought this for my 10 year old nieces birthday and it is such a lovely quality book for first cooks. We have both made some lovely plates of food from this and she easily understands it. I really love the little people in the book it really adds character and it’s just lovely.

Great book for beginner bakers. And like most people already said, the recipes actually taste really good :-) We've tried out nearly six of them so far. we're all happy!

it's a good quality book and is like the one I got 35 years ago but it didn't have all the same recipes which was disappointing .

The book arrived in sturdy packaging, no creased corners. The book itself is a fantastic selection of basic recipes aimed at young children, but in fact suitable for all ages.
