Heavy Duty material..Arrived damaged.. *by J***K on June 5, 2023* Ordered two of these boat stands. I have yet to use them, and they appear to be constructed of excellent materials and design. The one Issue I have, is that the painted bases (blue paint) on both stands were pretty well scratched and scuffed up (cosmetic only). The top opening diameter on one base arrived damaged, which happened in shipping I believe, and has been bent a bit (3/8" inward on lip). This is tough steel pipe. How could it be damaged? Therefore, the top adjustable screw post will not fit into the base, until it is repaired/reshaped. Since I have committed to use these stands this week, I did not reject this order. I will attempt to repair it myself. See photos of single damaged base. UPS delivery asked if I wish to return the order. I did not, as I felt it would delay my work schedule. I cannot imagine the manufacturer Brownell, would ship a damaged base.
