Fat Brain Toys The Original Air Toobz, Air-Powered STEM Building Toys for Kids & Teens, Kids Building Toys, STEM Toys for 3+ Year Old

This worked really well for my three kids, ages 3 to 7. They all had fun with it, but especially my two younger ones. It was easy for them to jump in and start playing, and they liked changing the tubes around and seeing what happened with the air and balls. I looked into some lower-cost options before buying this, but after reading reviews and doing a little research, it seemed like those didn’t really live up to the hype. I decided to spend the money on this one, and I’m glad I did. It also comes with a generous amount of balls, way more than I expected, which is a nice bonus. Fun, creative, and a good STEM toy for younger kids.

Pros- Lots of fun! Safe and fun to try out new patterns. The small foam colorful balls flow through effortlessly! Great use of planning and thinking plus problem solving. It comes with a rechargeable battery! This is what ultimately sold me! Charges up quickly! Con’s - the straight and curved tubes pieces are harder than I expected to attach together. More than that, trying different builds, the pieces can flop over. Especially when using the the connector piece. So we used the bureau to help hold the pieces to stay upright. If anyone else has a better idea, let me know. It also was very expensive. In my mind with all the fun, laughter and thinking involved to build. Totally worth it. I did buy the large set. I am so happy I did.

My students love this! They sit down and play with it forever. It's a great non electronic toy. It's easy to assemble and my students can rearrange the tube in any way they want.

My 6 year old grandson and 13 year old granddaughter are having a lot of fun with this toy. They have assembled it over a stairway and made a shower with it. It is very durable and educational because they are repositioning the tubes in different configurations to see what works the best.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My toddler is absolutely obsessed with the Air Toobz! It has quickly become one of his favorite toys, and he plays with it every single day. I love that it’s more than just fun. It encourages creativity, problem-solving, and cause-and-effect learning as he rearranges the tubes into new designs and watches the balls zoom through them. The quality is fantastic, the pieces are sturdy, and it’s easy enough for little hands to build with. I also appreciate that it keeps him engaged for long periods without needing screens. We’ve already started thinking of new ways to expand and mount our setup because he enjoys it so much. If you’re looking for an interactive toy that grows with your child and sparks their imagination, I can’t recommend the Air Toobz enough. It has been worth every penny for our family!

**Update 1/23/2024** Sadly I have to update my review just weeks after leaving my first review. I ordered this on 12/26 and it arrived after the new year which was find since I bought it for my daughters birthday in early January. I ordered it on Dec 23,2023 and it arrived Jan 3,2024 -- on Jan 22,2024 the motor and blower stopped working. Since it was within the return window I attempted to do so and planned on buying a new one assuming it was a fluke that it stopped working. I contacted the seller that same day and got the following response. Limolin LLC *My reasoning for asking for the return* Jan 22, 2024 11:10 AM Hello, I’d like to request a return as the blower has stopped working. The lights will show that it is fully charged. Once powered on the dial lights up but there is no air movement and the motor doesn’t turn on. *sellers response* Jan 22, 2024 11:49 AM hello, please note that a defect or damage should be reported up to 5 days from the delivery date and your package was delivered on Jan. 3. regards, customer care I bought this within the extended holiday return window and am shocked that they will not refund this. For a toy at this price point (at the time it was $165 I expected this to last much much longer then 19 days. For these reasons I cannot recommend this toy any longer. Original Review As soon as I saw this advertised I knew my kids would love it. For years they have been obsessed with the air tubes displays at kid museums and now we have they own buildable one at home. Easy to use & put together. The tubes and connectors just slide together instead of screw in which makes it easier for my younger kids to build independently. Replacing the foam balls once they get lost or broken seems simple because they are about the size of the popper foam balls used for the toy guns. The dial lights up to show how powerful the blower is running, at full speed quieter then I expected. The only thing I wish was that while it was plugged in I was able to run it. So far I’ve only been able to run the blower after it’s charged and unplugged. Not a big deal to me but wouldn’t be nice. Other thing is that you should buy the expansion pack of connectors and tubes as you’re going to want to build more elaborate runs.

My nephew is OBSESSED with this toy- brings it on vacation etc. One time he forgot to pack the balls and crumpled up paper so he could continue to play with it. The only warning that I wish I had is that the charger is not compatible with US outlets- you will need a converter or to order another charger separately. 10/10 would recommend.

Super fun. Kids like to play with every couple of months and gives them something fun to do. It is pricey but well made and durable. Can learn to make and use it different ways to send balls into bowls to catch them for trick shots or to spot up in the air. Battery life is decent and is usb charagable

This is amazing! My 2yr old has suspected asd and isn't keen on loud noises and likes what he likes so this was a risk. I don't regret it one bit. All my kids ranging from 2 - 12 years old play with this and when my brother gets involved (in his 20s) it becomes even more fun. The motor itself isn't loud at all and it keeps my kids entertained for hours. I bought this on special so itnwas definitely value for money. Colours are great and the size isn't too big just makes sure to keep the box.

I wanted to get my kids this, but the price didn’t make sense to me so I waited until Boxing Day where it went up in price but said 6% off, which was the exact same price that I checked before. Anyways, great idea for kids on snow days rainy days. There’s so much fun, but I get worried with how expensive it is. My kids will break it so I have to be monitoring them. It is a hit though and “worth” the price.
