This is 1 out of 4 XL recliner covers we tried and it is the best fit for our apparently abnormal chair. The fabric is soft and stretchy. The back of our chair is 48”. This fits! We do not have an opening in the back of the seat. Most have you pull straps through and attach behind. This cover tucks in around and stays for the most part. When in recline mode it slides a little , not a lot. I just tuck the cover back in when I’m done. We have a circle release lever on the right outside.There’s no hole for it but the fabric is stretchy enough that we can pull it to release just fine. I realized there is no perfect chair cover for our chair in our price range but this is really close to perfect! Here are our measurements in case you have a similar chair: 48” across the back 38” from top to bottom 32 1/2” from front to back on the side 32” across the foot rest 23 1/2” on the front from bottom to top of armrest 12” wide armrest There’s no opening in the back To the seat We are happy with this cover!

This is good fit. It wasn’t too difficult to put on. It is very stretchy and the fabric is comfortable. I just want to protect my new couch from getting dirty. The only problem I have is it doesn’t fit really well in the back. And since it is not up against a wall, it shows. But every couch is different. Other than that, it’s a really good fit and I would recommend it.

Colour, pattern and quality matched photos and description, the item was very easy to install and, while slightly large for my chair, still fits well. I was worried the material would be cheap and scratchy but it feels quite nice on skin. Item arrived with a small tear under the side pocket, but nothing I can't mend myself.

I've had this on my recliner for a while now. It's held up way better than expected. There's a hole on the side for the handle. Would Definitely buy again

These are nice covers fit my recliner perfectly, can’t beat it for the price.

For the most part, we like the covers--we bought three. You definitely need 2 people to get the covers on correctly. Although they stay on, they slide around a lot and look "wrinkled" when someone gets up. I do like the overall way it looks, the material is soft and looks good on.

Fits great. Does exactly what it is designed to do. Color was just as shown when I purchased the product. Easy to put on and take off to clean.

Because I have pets, I like a washable cover on my chair. It's easy to put on and stretchy to fit different chairs.

This chair cover is exactly as described. The fabric is soft, stretchy and feels nice to the touch. It was very easy to install by myself and it fit my recliner well. It instantly gave my chair a fresh new look and stays in place nicely. I definitely recommend it.

I figured that this wouldn't fit as snugly as the photos suggested and that it'd be loose fitting like older covers I've used in the past. I got my recliner new on sale because the colour wasn't desirable, so used this to change its colour to what I wanted. Well, it fit pretty snug actually. The end result looked far better than I'd thought. Only thing that wasn't completely snug was the back, but they give you a plastic bracket to get the back as tight as possible, which is nice. In fact, I really like this cover a lot. Its far better than I expected, and looks great. Why 4 stars though? The material is a lint magnet. The feel is awesome, but you'll need to vacuum this fairly often if you have pets and if you want it to look presentable. I feel like this was good value, and is a good sacrificial layer to keep my recliner pristine, as well as a fun colour change. Just have a vacuum ready.
